Cecile saw a girl by the lake. She walked over to her. "Hi." She said.

Cecile walked down the dock. She sat down next to her. Cecile loved the water. "What were you doing?" She asked.

"Why wuod they hate you?" She asked. "I'm Cecile. " she said. She had no idea what Cassandra was talking about.

Cecile's eyes widened at hearing her father's name. "What about Poseidon or Percy?" She asked.

Cecile quietly gasped. "You're almost as powerful as my dad?" She accidentally let slip out. When she realized what she had said she put her hands over her moth but that didn't change anything. "Why would the gods hate you then?"

"Oh." She said. She was relieved that Cassandra said nothing about Percy being her dad. She thought she hadn't heard her. She sat quietly for a while. "So is your dad Poseidon?" She asked.
