Story of how you met your Shugorei:I met blaze when i was in a dream. In the dream i was into a forest. There was a water fall. Then i saw a crature... it looked like a cat ... when i woke up i went in the forest again and i saw the water fall. Then i met blaze.

Kasen is a rather young, humored Shugorei. She is loyal at heart, and rarely likes to leave her friend's side, especially when they're in trouble. She has a good sense of humor, and unlike most other Shugorei, she isn't interested in any love affairs. Kasen enjoys playing games, and mimicking others to learn. While smart, she is a kind hearted soul and enjoys helping others.
Story of how you met your Shugorei:
The smell was foul; I had no idea how I had never realized it as I saw the shape.
It was extremely large, and as it appeared to leave, it swiveled on its large haunches and tore right through the tent.

Red. Black. Green. Brown.

Those were the colors that I saw when I realized I had to run. Everything was blurred, fuzzy; the blow had knocked off my glasses, only scratching them up severely. There was a stinging pain in my arm, as the foul breath of the creature reared up to give a final blow.
My glasses had been tied to my neck as a precaution of me losing them in the isolated mountains, and as a rolled quickly out of the way, I painfully staggered up, before the creature let out a heart-tearing roar.
I started to run.

Placing my glasses on my face, I went out into a full break run. My asthma wasn't helping the situation.
It's over. I'm done for. This bear is going to rip me to shreds!
My eyes darted from tree to tree as a ran, the injured bear in close pursuit. How I even managed to injure it I didn't even know, but with the blood loss from my arm I wouldn't be able to continue running much longer. For once, hiking alone in the mountains with only my dog seemed like a bad idea. Now, without the dog, and a mauled arm, I was running for my life.
There were myths that creatures called Shugorei lived in these rocky mountains, spirit guardians to help the humans.
A hissing noise awakened my reality, along with a rattling sound.

My worst fears, confronted. A snake.
Now I'm really done for.

But yet, as I closed my eyes to hide myself from the fear, everything stopped. No noises. No smells.
I waited for who knows how long. Minutes, a half an hour, an hour?

Opening my eyes, I saw blue and yellow. I saw someone else's eyes.
"H-hello." I softly said, as it gave an amused purr, hopping back.
Sitting up, I carefully extending my hand to touch it.
It looked at me, bemused, before sitting down, as if studying each other.

I had heard of the Shugorei, my cousin always claimed she had wanted one and did extensive reasearch. It said that a Shugorei and it's human had a special bond and once 'claimed' they would stay together and never leave. It also said female's had long, luxurious tails. So, this one would be a female.
"You look like a Kasen. You know what Kasen means? It means, pure, saving one."
I gave a smile, as she assisted in helping me up.

"Us girls have to stick together, right?" I grinned, as she gave another amused purr, her staff giving a small rattle.

Story of how you met your Shugorei: I was out, walking the rocky outcroppings of the forest. I was looking for a lost treasure of mine, a small silver feather. As I jogged on the sharp rocks I noticed the once pale and rounded rocks were turning dark black and sharp; a very unfriendly looking terrian. Not caring, I jogged on. A mistake. I slipped and fell, instantly shattering my ankle. I screamed in pain, nothing had ever induced such pain to me before. (Some time later) I swear I can see something in the distance. A white figure, coming closer. "Help!" I screech, hoping for it to come and help me. It does, only the creature isn't human. The white animal sniffs my hand, coming closer to my ankle. It looks at me, right in the eyes. As if to say, "I will help you" and it did. When my ankle was better, the strange creature whom I now call Fiato never left my side.
