Got a check from one of my friends who wanted to help me get a new computer.

He sent enough money to set me almost to the halfway point. In a month, I've gathered twice my monthly pay for this laptop.

I almost gave up hope last night. I almost bought a Chromebook, despite the fact that I can't do my rl job on it. But now... I can make it. I know I can. And if I can manage to force myself to swallow my pride and ask for momey from my mother's ex - who considers me his own since my dad passed - I might even be able to get it sometime this month.

Ohholymotherofnoodles, this... this is happening. It's real.
