So in order for me to date, a guy had to talk to my dad first for his permission. I don't mind this rule anymore. So they guy I like actually did this, the first guy to ever try this hard for me. And my dad said no. He said that he didn't want me to be in an exclusive relationship yet. It had nothing to do with the guy who asked me.

I guess my question is do you guys have any advice about maybe trying to prove myself to my dad? I don't want to give up yet. Any tips on winning over a parents approval?? Advice is much appreciated<3

My parents have the same rule. No guy has been brave enough to ask yet though. I am not sure how you would prove yourself. Being ready for marriage is a big thing, because if your family is anything like mine they want to go through the courtship process with the intent of getting married. So the big question is, are you ready to get married?

I am not, so I am content to wait until some poor hapless soul is willing to talk to my father. xD

Exactly what my parents said! I told them no. I am not ready to get married. (I am almost 16) but I told them that at my age I'm not looking to literally get married. I'm looking for the right guy to get married to. If that makes any sence xD

I am a few years older then you. I am looking for the right guy too, but at the same time I want to make sure I am ready. Because when the ball starts to roll it won't be long until marriage.

It does make sense to me, what you are saying. I have had the same thoughts before, but I guess it really depends on what your parents think in this situation. I think what your dad means is that he doesn't want to see you getting attached to someone too soon. If that happens you could be in for heartbreak, and if your dad is like mine then he wouldn't want that and would do anything in his power to prevent it.

So...there's this boy..(of course)

He's actually super sweet. He's the sweetest guy I've had like me yet. He always gives me compliments. He says super sweet things all of the time. He always texts me first. It's just adorable.

However, I'm taking things slow. We haven't known each other for very long. We've known each other for a month at the most. We sort of just skipped over becoming friends and just went straight to flirting though. We've been texting every day for almost a week now. I can definitely feel that I'm attached. I don't think I actually like him right now though. I don't know him well enough to decide whether I do or not. I'm slowly getting to know him. I'm making sure I take things slow. I have major trust issues, especially when it comes to guys. There's just a few minor things that I'm not too fond about with him (nothing too bad though), and some things I've heard/seen make me slightly wary as to whether he actually likes me or not. For now I'm just seeing how things go.

I don't necessarily need any advice, I was just getting things off of my mind.

So somehow my friends and I got on the subject of our ex's. And out of curiosity I searched up an ex of mine who I broke up with years ago. We're talking six or so years ago. He was a slightly chubby, not-your-typical-cute-guy, and I had to dump him, because my parent's found out about our relationship and

okay. so there's this guy, of course. i'm not really sure if i like him or not and i'm not sure what friends i can trust, so i've come here. we'll call him bob and we'll call my main friend in this el. okay here we go.
so basically, bob isn't your typical cute guy, but more of a nerd. he's not too bad, though. we both have similar personalities and we get along pretty well. there's some points where he's kind of mean, but i think he does it on purpose. i'm pretty sure it's because he's comfortable around me and my friend. whenever bob is with his friends or i'm with el, he's more of a jerk, but when we are around other people or talking one on one, he's really nice and jokes around about being my "bestie".
i'm not really sure if i like him though. like when it's me and el, he'll talk to her more than me sometimes and i feel myself get jelous, but then he just gets annoying and i'm like there is no way i can like him.
i can't tell if he likes me or if he likes el or what.
maybe you guys could help me out and tell me something.

Theres this guy who I'm really liking and ugh I actually don't really want to like him but I don't know! He's in at least five of my classes so I see him almost all school periods. e.e I don't actually know him as to be friends. Only as classmates. But from what I see, he's smart cause he's in all honors /shot and I like people who are smart which makes me like him even more 0///0 none of my friends know yet cause I just really started to like him. Sad part is... Even if he did like me back (which I doubt) i'm not too sure about dating again because I want to actually focus on my school studies. I'll just stay put and never make a move I guess. xD

Ok...So I had a dream involving cute boy....

We were all the the school cafeteria, and for some reason, my friend and I were sitting with his group. She blurts out that I have a crush on cute boy, and I proceed to try and hide. Cute boy says: "I could get into that."....MAJOR SQUEAL FIT! XD


What I wanna know is this: What exactly is 'I could get into that' supposed to mean?
