If you've used an AR before, it could have glitched your game. But I don't think it's that. lol That's pretty cool though.

Bulbapedia records are always perfectly accurate, and in the off chance they aren't, the pokèmon database is taken straight from Gamefreaks records. And it shows, Jynx's gender catch rate is Female 100%. Concrete evidence. No "it's possible you never know"'s, because you can't disagree with facts. That's a glitched game if what you're saying is true.

I think my sister caught a male one on her crystal game, but it froze while saving and she lost it. I don't quite remember if she said the jynx was a guy or not. I think so, but I'm not sure.

To be fair, I'd trust serebii over bulbapedia any day.

But in this case, I do think Jynx is 100% female.

It could be a simple matter of a glitch in the game. It's been too long since I've played the original silver, so I can't tell you for certain that I've seen a male jynx, but I feel like I may have.

It's not like the older games were glitch free...heck, even the new ones have glitches. For instance, my cousin has a ditto that retained moves from the marowak it transformed into before he caught it (platinum). When I researched it after it happened, there was nothing on the internet about it. Looks like other people have had it since though, because now the 'rage ditto' trick is all over the internet.

In any case, there was no need to call anyone stupid here.

Ye it does. Trust me.It nearly ruined my legit ver. of Pearl three days after use. I used the AR to quick-breed, first litter of six only one egg made it, the rest were bad eggs. I also randomly lost my Magcargo, male Absol, and Ralts to B.E.S. two days later. Also, every time I save and restart my game, I'm back at home like I just beat the E4. When I used it on HG, I couldn't see the Kanto map at all. The latter I worked out.

Yeah, I used the pokedex cheat, tm cheat, and maybe one or two others I can't name at the moment on my diamond game and now it freezes for about four seconds before asking me if I want to save.
