Katie nodded rapidly, holding the ripped wedding dress to her chest as she cried. "I-It was... my mother's... before she died, she told me that she wanted me to find it and wear it for my own wedding when I was old enough," she choked out between sobs. "It was one of the last things she said to me... before she died," she cried out.
