why can i NEVER get a rare or higher pet from someone quitting or an adoption center

E VERYTIME I TRY,THEY IGNORE MY TRADE,AND ACCEPT SOMEONE ELSE'S TRADE WITH PRETTY MUCH ALL MY CHOSEN PETS
im probably just going to quit going to adoption centers. this has been going on for so long i cant even explain
siiiiigh the only pets i actually get from adoptions centers are pets i dont really want


edit:just to add,most of my trades are rotting adoption center trades. most of the time i adopt from an adoption center with uncommons and higher,they never come on anymore AT ALL and let my trade rot,or they just go around accepting other people's trades without even bothering to notice mine.

just realized i cant do a tier swap with my '09 UR dog because there is no other pets on that tier and I don't really want to trade down and I don't have enough fodder (yet) to trade up -.-

I tend to click on the message I get saying I have a trade before I click on the trade, most of the time to gauge what type of person the other person is, whether I should really go over the trade or cancel it immediately, etc. etc. So when I see this message, I knew that this trade was probably going to blow up in my face and most likely? Make me rage for ten minutes. Want to see this nice little message I got?

This is an olde pet so its worth a very rare now. Or 3 rares.

I don't mean to make myself seem high and mighty or anything, but I'm a pretty nice person. I try to look at the best of things; seeing this guy had not written exactly what pet he had offered, I decided to give it a look; I mean, hey, it could be someone nice giving me my dreamie in exchange for something little, right?

Nope. Nu-uh.

I see an uncommon 2010 bat that I already have offered in exchange for two rare event pets from last year; I understand that some might think it's fair and all, because it's a bat and everything; I might even have allowed one rare and just be done with it. But nooooo; this lovely person says it's worth a VERY RARE. I don't believe any uncommon will ever be worth a very rare, thank you very much, unless it's like, a 2008 uncommon for a 2013 rare I have repeats of; thanks little buddy, for sending me that trade, but no thanks. Let me go slam my head against a table now.

Yeah...just because I'm having a Dreamie center doesn't mean I give free pets to random persons. They have to read the rules and fill out a form ._.

Besides the fact I could be busy. I may actually be thinking the trade over, or asking on the FTT for help. I'm sorry if some trades make me need to think them over, if I'm willing to pay said offer or trying to work out how to make a fair edit.
I can understand if it were a weeks wait. But not just a day. Find yourself some patients, you need it.

Well, I thought that trading is over for me. I wrote in my trade rules:

These are the first two sentences of the 'rules'.
But somehow I forgot to lock the items even though I made sure they are locked to prevent people from sending me trades and then - taddaaaa! I get a ready to accept trade with a store item on my side and nothing on their side and the person asking if I would trade it.

I thought it's obvious that I don't trade. It should be very obvious. And if the person wanted to trade, why was it a one sided and not a finished trade and why was it a ready to accept trade and not a suggestion.

At least my items are finally locked now - thanks to the person (that's meant in a nice and good way). Let's hope I am save now.

Everytime I search for you you seem to disappear.

And well, people, what is wrong with you, that you not even write a simple "thank you" when accepting my trade offer? I always have the feeling that I have done something wong when this happens.

Just 2 start off, i take an trade, unless theyre reasonable. That means, if you ask for a special pet, i may turn it down.
All other pets, ill trade. Please send a message when you trade. COPPAD's are excused. No codewords, just a simple 'hiya' would be nice. Please, NO SPIDERS!! I am terrified of them!! I may accept those little PPS spiders.

Second, if your lucky, ill often give people free pets. (No, this iznt to get yur trust, just being nice.)
Pleaze, DO NOT DO THIS:

"Can I have this pet? it s on my wish list, ill pay u back!" FLAT OUT NOZ. Or:

" Could you send me a free *insert a pet*? We can be friends... " If CS could let u cuss, or if words could kill, YOUD BE DEADZ BY NOW. Lastly, dont send me this:


" Pleaze can i have this *insert a pet* ? Itll complete my collection..." YOURZ ONZ MY FOEZ LIST AND A AUTOMATIC NOZ!!!!!
(Now, im a Catholic, so i must stay clean in words and keep a clean spirit.) BUT THIS STILL IZ WRONG.

If i do ask for a pet back, it would probably be one that you dont want or one with equal value.

While I think it's great to give someone their dreamie for free I have to admit I'm actually really not a fan of dreamie centers that advertise that stuff. I mean I could totally see if you made a group that helped people find their dreamies so that they could offer on them or gave them advice on how to get the pets they would need to trade for them but by saying "Post here and we'll do all the work!" it just seems like it keeps people from actually working for their goals. They just see "Oh hey they'll do it for me!" and they can post and never have to do another thing but wait until their dreamie comes to them. I've spent money out of my pocket, done artwork, done offsite trading, traded up slowly and traded down slowly, overpaid and searched for specific pets to make just the right offer to get mine. I've gotten gifts and of I course I absolutely love them and I really do appreciate it but I don't expect it. I understand if you want to help others find their dreamies or get them for them but it seems to me like that really leads some people down the wrong path.
