So I made a Pokemon Trainer with my dream team. Kinda overpowered, but oh well. Lucario is replacing Dragonite because I thought it'd be unfair to have two Dragons with epic strength in one team, but as you can tell the others are pretty damn powerful.

Lucario - Juna - Lvl. 88 - Mega Punch, Bite, Force Palm, Focus Blast - Female - Holding Focus Sash - Steel/Fighting
Pikachu - Thunder - Lvl. 86 - Thunderpunch, Thunder, Charge, Quick Attack - Male - Holding Electric Plate - Electric
Garchomp - Storm - Lvl. 84 - Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Outrage - Male - Holding Dragon Gem - Dragon/Ground

And now, a scene with my new Trainer; Senshi.

"Shhh, shhhh..."

The young girl pet the Garchomp's head soothingly, holding his claw with the other. There was an angry red patch on his arm, which she held a bottle of potion over. "It's ok Storm, it'll stop hurting soon..." She promised.

Storm was trembling a bit at the pain in his arm, and he flinched when he felt the healing medicine being sprayed on the wound. And then the soothing feeling came, and he relaxed, eyes softening.

Senshi giggled and put the bottle back in her bag. "See? Not that bad." She chirped, giving his forehead a light kiss. Storm stood just less than a foot taller than her as they climbed to their feet. Already the red mark was fading, making the Garchomp let out a few happy chirping noises. "And now," She turned to the Excadrill who was sitting behind her.

Star gave her the puppy eyes, but to no avail. "What have I told you about using Metal Claw during break time? You know the rules; no real attacks." She scolded. The Trainer was travelling to Kanto from Unova, and they'd decided to stop for a break near the entrance to the Region, and play a bit. Star had a habit of using Metal Claw, which had given Storm an injury on his arm.

Star let out some apologetic sounds, looking in the direction of Storm.

Senshi smiled. "Good! Now that that's cleared up..." She took out her four remaining Pokeballs and threw them in the air, letting her remaining Pokemon pop out. "Juna, Thunder, Queen and Char!" She exclaimed as each one popped out.

Ready Senshi?

The thoughts of her Pokemon reached her mind and she smiled. Ready. She spun around, facing the entrance to the Kanto Region. "There's a new girl in town." She smirked, taking her first step into the region.

And I always imagined my trainers having mental links with their Pokemon, so yeah.

Well, I feel like writing an essay on the possibility of a Dragon-type Eeveelution...


These are 7 of the Eeveelutions. Their types are all types whose moves were once all considered special. But there's one type missing...

Dragon! (Dratini is the first Dragon-type in national PokeDex order, so... =P)

However, in later generations (the only Dragon-type move introduced in Gen 1, Dragon Rage, is a set-damage move), the Dragon-type became insanely overpowered, due to only one type resisting it, Steel. So, in the upcoming 6th Generation, Game Freak have decided to introduce a new type: Fairy.


Does this sound familiar to some long-time fans? That's because it's happened before.

The last time new types had been introduced was in Generation 2, also for balancing reasons. Let's look at the Generation 2 Eeveelutions, shall we?


In Generation 1, Espeon's type was overpowered, also due to the lack of types resisting it. So, in Generation 2, Dark and Steel were added to balance it out. Dark was immune to this once-overpowered type. Of all of those Dark-types, only one pure Dark-type was introduced... Umbreon. And the other Eeveelution? Espeon.

Now, back to Gen 6. So, there's Sylveon. As a Fairy-type, it's immune to the once-OP Dragon. Compare that to my (badly worded) paragraph about Espeon and Umbreon above, as well as the formerly-special-types thing I mentioned at the start, and it seems rather likely we'll get a Dragon-type Eeveelution, doesn't it?

^^^ yes. I will be very surprised (and kind of disappointed) if they don't introduce a dragon type evolution in XY. We've been waiting for it for forever, it feels like, and they've never only introduced one in a generation before. Poison would be kind of cool too, but it just doesn't follow the pattern.

After seeing the leaked starter's final forms...ugh. I gotta say I'm disappointed. I'll probably go with Froakie until I find another water type to replace him with--I still LOVE frogadier's look, and might try to just go with him and keep him from evolving fully, but man why does gamefreak like to fly out to left field with some of these final evos? x_x (I would go with Fennekin if I didn't already plan to pick Charmander for my other starter--there really does seem like an over abundance of fire types in XY when usually they're the toughest to get a hole of)

Also anyone notice how X seems to be focused on Physical mega evolutions? Charizard X and Mewtwo X increase attack and get abilities that boost their physical moves while Charizard Y and Mewtwo Y are built more towards special attacking? I was actually beginning to regret pre-ordering X because I liked Mewtwo Y's design better (and the fact that Yver...ugh is dark/flying means I WANT it since I love dark types), but after seeing Charizard X I'm sooo excited. Already bred and trained a competitive Jolly charmander to transfer over once they come out :3 sooo excited to see him mega evolve

I'll just have to trade someone for the mewtwo Y mega stone. I don't usually use ubers anyway so it isn't a big deal if I don't get it right away.

Fennekin... Hate to be the hipster... But I prefer to not choose fire-types since I... Since I lost Flambo.

Chespin... Same... I tend not to choose other Grass-types with the exception of Turtwig since I lost Leonard...
