So what do you guys look for exactly when trying out for a Mako?

Darker bases with brighter tails / hair / etc.
ABUSE OF THE COLOR CYAN CYAN CYAN AND ORANGE ORANGE
im attracted to animal-esque markings and patterns
i love love love spots and specks and dots and merle-y things
Something.... different? Idk, all my makoes end up with something odd
that makes them 'them' to me. Kyrill has his coral, blitz has his braid and
fishhook, and callimaco is... callimaco. xD

I have a braid addiction too! I try not to use them on everything.
But yknow. braid braids braids side braids especially *A*
