Clandestine Secret of Wisteria
The solitary mare drifted across the plains, searching, seeking. There was a gentle limp in her walk, but she quickly synced it with her movement to create an easy flow as she moved through the area like a ghost, like a secret. In some ways, her name was fitting. Wisteria. A flower uncommonly found, and Wisteria wasn't like most. The mare glided, hauntingly elegant. Suddenly, her plain hazel eyes spotted movement. Her own movement ceased, creating an unnatural stillness as she watched. A yearling? Without a herd? She could see the path the other horse had travelled, going through thick shrubs and even logs. Was this horse new to this area then, to not be used to seeking out the easiest path? Or perhaps, the yearling was panicked. Wisteria moved, but this time it was to hover closer. The yearling posed no threat. What she didn't want to meet was stallions, especially with a slightly injured leg.
As she came closer, she realised it wasn't a yearling, but a very small mare. This piqued the queer mare's curiosity, and weaving her way over, Wisteria watched the small mare quietly. She looked in bad shape, probably not used to the harsh conditions here. Being born here, Wisteria was well conditioned to finding less nutrients, but more than that, she simply knew where to look. The smaller mare was wasting her time looking for grasses here, and time was precious. She was courting death. Gently letting out a snort, the older mare waited for the younger one to notice her, staying out of reach just in case the mare bucked or bit when she startled.
Mostly just on rps now. XD
