CAAA 12 IS NO MORE :O

Sometimes its hard to be completely original with a design of a species. Sometimes a species look like another without even the person making them knowing there is a similar one out there. My species the Forest Unicorns happens to look a lot like WME, though I really based their hair off of Kirins and old style unicorns. The markings I tried basing them off of the African Wild Dog, but instead they just looked like quipping most of the time -

It just happened that a lot of the features I liked for my species was shared with WME. So like with Kia's and JMD and JBD, they could have been inspired by a lot of different things that but still ended up a bit similar to another species, BUT there are still a lot of differences between them.

Its true but i am ust going by what it looks like not stories or anything. And if there were more interesting aspects, then people needto use them and not draw wolves with the tails, hair, and horns.

I like dark brown with creamy white <33 And sometimes i like to add some unnatural colors like blue,lime etc.

While we are on the subject of user-made species, I do agree it can be harder as the 'norm' for CS is now on species that are a tad more generic than most i've seen (In my opinion). I've had a few more unique species on CS, the Gloandi/Gloandire and the Strix but neither really took off even thought they were creative. I just made a species of my own actually, the Musicalias, I made them because of my love of music and tendency to make music based characters, I made something for them that I thought was unique and the outcome I really like-

When it comes to characters, what are your favorite color schemes?
I like natural colors with an unnatural accent, I use grayscales a lot and often rely on my Copic colors from SketchBook for some unique combos that I really often like. ouo

I mainly love, Mmm.. I'd have to say brown's with a creamish color mixed in there, but a dash of light blue wouldn't hurt.

Yes, I agree that it is hard, and sometimes you just really want to use a feature shared between species, and I acknowledge that. I'm not saying all or majority, but some species are deliberately copied off others for the sake of being "unable" of getting one, or not being bothered to try hard enough.

Also, I've seen your species and they're very nice. I didn't see any resemblance between WMEs + Forest Unicorns before you mentioned it, and still don't. Equines are equines, you don't call a dog with a horse's head an equine, right? It's hard to make some equine based species different from others, which is totally understandable. Kudos to you, though. I think I've only seen two or so of your species, but they're really neat.
