It was a typo. And Im sorry but pairing up two in a set does nOt make them worth older rares, just the ordinary. So if one is worth a mid '10 then two of the store pets would be worth two mid '10's. Now if you get a set, each would go for about a late-mid '09 rare each if giving the entire set. And it would not be "scamming a user" if they were new. New users usually like to get sentimentally "unique" pet. But make sure you do not scam them if they are unknowlagable of the rarities.

No, having two does not make them worth more, but by putting the two together, you can request for a rarer pet, for example, asking for a late '09 rare as opposed to asking for two mid 2010 rares, for both of the store pets.

1 late '09 rare = Two '13 store pets
as opposed to
Two '10 mid rares = Two '13 store pets

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on how many (random) uncommon 2010 pets the 2012 pumpkin pie dog is worth please? I only need a guideline so that I don't short myself completely.

Just one. ^.^ It's worth 4-5 '12 uncommons, or a couple '11 uncommons, or 1 '10.

For the pet individually, three month rule. But if you find someone that has the same zodiac as the dog and is looking for one (especially beginners on CS) you may be able to get a mid 09 rare for it or two late '10- early '11 rares for it. And on the other hand, if you happen to acquire the entire set, you would be able to snag a low teir (1-3 teir) advent list pet.

That would basically be scamming a user if you asked that from them, especially if they are beginner because they won't know better. The pet itself is only worth a three month swap.

I concur. Three month rule, or a handful of 2010 uncommons. Besides, I've never seen them go for a mid '09 rare-a late '09 under 3 month rule, but never that much. o.o

Question to clarify: The value has dropped in the last six months? My notes said a mid-early 2011 Rare Dog (+)? I would have thought a rare was a little more than 2 uncommons? (working on a same year/3 month principle)
