Shadepaw ignored Leafpaw's meow, feeling irritated at the world.

Fernpaw sat down,
"We're not on hunting patrol, you know, and I would much rather prefer warm prey rather then the day old stuff on there,"
she meowed, flicking her tail towards the fresh-kill piled.
"I haven't eaten all day, and if you're going to hold me back from eating, then I'll just go myself."

{ I think it will be alright because I originally said Rivertail....Maybe Fernpaw could be "split" XD Maybe Rivertail wants to lure her in to his plan, but Cinderfrost holds her back and tries to lure her back into the good world }

(That sounds good.)

Cinderfrost nodded, "Go ahead and eat. I was just telling you the plans for today. We'll be hunting by the lake, and then I can teach you a few moves." She sat down, her silver fur slightly ruffled by the whispering breeze. She licked her paw and ran it over her ear, watching Fernpaw. Her eyes slightly narrowed, as though she was predicting something, but they returned to their normal, joyful state a few moments later as she shook the thoughts away.

Leafpaw tilted her head, "Why are you angry? It's a beautiful day!" She ignored the fact that there was little sunlight, but the warm atmosphere was enough to bring her spirits up.

Shadepaw decided to go see Leafpaw. He padded out of the apprentices' den, his eyes slightly narrowed.
"I'm tired, Leafpaw,"
he mewed, traipsing over.

Fernpaw shrugged and got to her paws,
"We can eat first and then we'll hunt for the Clan,"
she suggested, trying to get it so Cinderfrost would agree with her.

[iPawki]

"Stop arguing and eat already," Cinderfrost teased her softly, picking out a small mouse for herself. She daintily bit out of eat, gingerly chewing the delicious prey.

Leafpaw's joyful expression hardened. She crouched down, stretching, and let out a small yawn. "We all are, Shadepaw. So what's up with being all angry, when you could try to see the light?"

(Leafpaw was kinda abandoned and all when she was a smaller kit, so she's always been trying to be happy.)

[splashfoot]

"I'm not grumpy!"
Shadpaw snapped, irritated at Leafpaw's accusation.
"I'm just irritated! There's a difference, you know!"
He whipped around and bounded back into the apprentices' den.

"But Cinderfrost...."
Fernpaw whined,
"That prey is cold.....I want something warm...."

[iPawki]

Cinderfrost sighed, "We can't have all we want here. Go find a sunny place if you care so much," She mewed, trying hard to keep her patience.

Leafpaw shrugged, "There's not reason to be irritated," She mewed indifferently.

[splashfoot]

"I'm irritated because I have no friends,"
hissed Shadepaw over his shoulder.

Fernpaw hissed, then stalked out of the camp irritably, going to look for Mistypaw.

"Then make some," Leafpaw responded.

(Slight writer's block)

"And she's gone," Cinderfrost murmured softly, lying down in the warm sun.

[splashfoot]

Shadepaw ignored Leafpaw and curled up in his nest again.

Fernpaw trotted through the forest happily, her tail waving and head held high.

Leafpaw trotted into the den, curling up in her own nest, "Why are you being so stubborn?" She mewed. "It's not that hard once you try to appreciate."
