Winter lightly grabbed the femme's scruff with his mouth as she jumped up to try and throw him off. When she settled, he let go and jumped off himself, landing with a slight stumble on the ground. He flicked his ears to her praise and jumped to his feet, twisting around to face her with a beaming expression. "You think so? Ooh! Maybe my power is jumping or silence, or speed!" As he named each possibility, Winter began to spin around in thrilled circles, heart beating quickly as he started to pant with excitement. Was this it? Had he finally discovered his power?

Fade

" Could be any of those, lets try dogging some attacks. Get ready." She said as she bent down ready to pounce.

Winter began bobbing his head and wagging it from side to side, seeming to hum a little song of accomplishment in his head. He had been so wrapped up in this that he didn't notice what Fade had said until she crouched low. You know those moments where you don't really listen to what someone says so you can't remember it but then they do something that suddenly triggers those memories? Yeah, it was like that. So, the pup also crouched low, then he laid down with his tail in the air and a happy yet determined look on his face. He figured he had the advantage, being he was smaller and could easily just duck and dodge, so he simply waited for her move. Winter had stored much energy in his paws to the point in which they were like loading springs; ready to bounce out of the way at any second. He also stored energy in his abdomen for pushing of the ground, hence why he was lying down.

Fade

She jumped forward then threw her weight to one side hoping to catch the pup if he went that way.

As soon as the femme pounced, Winter used his paws and stomach to push off and roll out of the way, tumbling sideways to the left and gathering clumps of dirt and grass on his fur until he was back in the upright position. He sprang to his paws and crouched into a play bow, watching her carefully for any signs of her next move. This is fun! He thought as he transferred the energy into his front legs and back paws, tail wagging uncontrollably. So far so good, though his eyes took a quick glance over to the orb he was so used to wearing; making sure the she-wolf didn't accidently step on or kick it. Ever since he had woken up in that pile of snow just a few days ago, he had immediately felt a connection to his necklace, though he had no idea why.

Fade

She ran at Winter then lept over him then she spun around and went to grab him by the scruff of the neck.

Winter let out a yelp of surprise as he instinctively began to scramble out of the way, tripping over his paws a bit for she had taken him by surprise. He whipped around to face her, still scooting away. "I guess were even..." He muttered briefly while catching his breath. The pup had surprised her, and now she had surprised him, so they were in fact even.

Fade

" I guess so. see if you can use your surroundings to hide then attack when I cant see you." She said sitting down and closing her eyes.

Winter nodded, though Fade closed her eyes so she didn't catch it. He jumped around and looked at the river. The only places he could hide were either in the river, or crouching in the tall grass along the banks, but his black fur would surly give himself away. The pup sighed. I don't really have any other options, since I can't hold my breath long enough to hide in the water. He concluded in his head then tossed one last look over his shoulder at Fade, still waiting with her eyes closed, before he hopped into the tall grass and crouched low, trying to make himself as small as possible so she wouldn't find him. After a few moments of silence and waiting, he began to crawl around in the tall grass, slowly creeping towards her and barely making a sound. When he was only a foot away from Fade, he paused for a moment of silence then leapt out of the grass, barreling into her chest and attempting to pin her down.

Fade

Fade's Eyes snapped open as she was pined to the ground, she scraped at the pup gently with her hind legs to push him off with out him getting hurt. " Very good. Do you feel anything."
