"I hope," Jesse said. "It's only three years. In the grand scheme of things, that isn't very long." He sighed. "I just worry that you'll get tired of waiting for us to be legally acceptable, and find someone else."

"You think I'm going to find someone else?!" She asked, shocked he would think that.

Jesse sighed. "No," he said. "I'm just worried about that. I tend to worry about things that aren't probable."

Bella kissed him, deeply. "I love you, and nobody else." She said.

Someone signed Bella out of the boarding school. She's not there. I went to pick her up after work, and they said someone signed her out for a family emergency this morning. Keylee texted Dimka.

Dimka cursed in Russian. "I have to go. I'll see you guys later."

Dimka shook his head. "Someone signed Bella out of the school, and I'd bet me life it was Jesse Lockhart."

Bella smiled, snuggling into him. "I always feel whole with you. I mean at home I never get the attention that I get when I'm with you."

Kailyn sighed. "Be easy on Bella." She said. "She really loves him dad."
