☞ ☞ Jane exhaled watching the tiny puff of vapor come out, she was in particularly good mood today because it was her birthday. Jane normally wouldn't be to excited about her birthday but 16 was an important milestone. Jane was particularly excited about getting her drivers license, she hated counting on her mother to drive her places and she had been saving up money for 2 years to buy a car. The only disappointment for her was the fact she would have no sweet 16 party, no birthday cards in the mail, just a few polite congratulations when she went back to school. She was so tempted to ask her mother to have a few friends over but she knew the answer and she didn't really want her friends to meet her mother. So instead of a party Jane walked through her favorite trail in the woods, she especially loved it in winter. She usually came here when she needed to clear her mind, to her it was relaxing and refreshing. Today was nice and relaxing and she felt happy despite the fact she was alone on her birthday. Annie didn't mind being alone but she did wish she was spending it with someone. One of the only downside is she was freezing cold. Annie admitted she could of dressed warmer, her black leggings and thin grey jacket were just not cutting it but she wanted to look nice today didn't she? It was a poor choice and she swore she was going to get frostbite but she was not spending her 'sweet' 16 with her mother she would much rather spend it alone in the woods with no protection from the cold temperatures.

There was no possible way she could manage to stay here, alone. Even though
it might only be a couple minutes she still hated ever being alone. Kacey looked
over at a squirrel that fell from it's spot in a tree with a startled expression.

I woke up, opening one eye lazily. I had a lazy expression on my face, even as i stood up and stretched, allowing my bones to crack. I stared walking, and i poked my head out of the cave before yawning. Walking out i continued on my trek. I stopped as i noticed the girl from earlier, watching some squirrel with a startled expression. That boy wasn't with her, so i decided to investigate further. I walked up to her before yawing again."Whatcha doing are here kid? Don't you know mean and nasty wolves could come and eat you??" i asked her, almost hiding my amusement. A talking wolf, fantastic. I shook my fur out before growling at her, walking round her in slow circles. "who are you anyway?" i asked her, with a hint of curiosity in my voice. I was very curious as to what she'd think when i'd shift. And so my curiosity got the best of me and i did. I shifted into my human form. I watched her with the same ice-blue eyes like i had in my wolf form. "what do you think neat right?" i asked, walking around her in a circle. I shifted back, hopefully her brother - or whatever he was - would think she's crazy that this wolf and talk and shape shift. I said hopefully right?

the blonde's footsteps were hitting the ground on the sidewalk with one of her apple earbud in her ear. she could feel the wind blowing into the messy bun that was up in her hair high and a few inches away from her neck. her blonde eyes searched for the cafe on the right of the small town, looking towards the right at the next block to see in bold letters of the cafe she was searching for.

a small sigh escaped her lips as she reached for the door, opening it and walking towards the counter. "a chocolate milkshake please, extra whipped cream." she said, using her hands to search for her wallet in her back pocket. she got out a few dollars and gave it to the cashier, taking the drink back from her. "thanks." she said, giving her a slight grin as she walked back outside and towards the forest, looking for a path to walk for a while. she'd been thinking about if she should go walking a few times a week just for the hell of it, which she didn't really hate at all. she took a sip of her drink, letting the cold chocolate drink flow through her vains to cool them down as if it was fire with rain.

Grace slipped out of her house and took t the trees, her safe haven. Whenever her parents fought she always left and went into the woods, it was a habit by now. She plugged he ear buds deep into her pierced ears and turned up her iPods volume to full blast, it was a wonderful day for a walk. Gracie hummed to the beat of the song that had just turned on and tufted through the dimly lit forests, watching the orange sun fall below the bloody horizon. In one swift movement Grace began to sprint, she didn't know where she was going or when she was going to return home but she wanted to leave, run away from her parents constant bickering racing through her spinning mind.

Aurora sauntered into the coffee shop, pushing open the glass door and listening to the familiar ring of the bell going off informing the workers someone had decided to grab a cup of coffee or have a quick snack. "Hey doll, my usual please." She smiled to the young boy behind the counter, plopping down into a cheap red window seat at a two person table. She removed her phone from her bag with a slight grin, it was 5 pm on a closing Saturday evening, giving her another day out of the jail ignorant people called school. "Thanks Hun," She told the waitress as she dropped off her mocha frappicino, nothing to classy. Rawr sighed as she glanced at the empty seat across from her, she needed to make some more friends. She dismissed the negative thought quickly and returned her greenish blue eyes to the partially busy street in front of the coffee shop, watching the various crowds of people shuffle by. Rawr loved people watching, their wasn't a radon for it; in her opinion it was just madly entertaining.

She began, using finger quotients around trouble-maker and in trouble. She hopped down, landing perfectly. She stood up after brushing some stuff of of her legs, dressed in a light shirt, and jeans. Her shoes were flip-flops, but because the majority of the day, she remained a cat, she really was never cold. "Whether you like it or not, I am here to protect you. We can be enemies, or you could be my best friend, you decide." Her eyes narrowed, and a growl escaped from her throat, quickly getting the point across that he was not to be her enemy. Once finishing this, she stepped to the side, walking forward.

Missie smiled to the leopard. "Your a pretty little thing, ya know?" She said. Leopards were one of her favorite animals, dangerous or not. She stood up, seeing how large he was compared to her. She sighed. "This is probably one of my dreams, isn`t it? If this were real, you`d be feasting on my brains right now." She stroked the cats` head again, and returned inside, soon throwing one of the Salmon she had cooked earlier, giving it to the large cat.

Well, it's not a dream just yet. Glancing at the salmon and flicking his tail, Jasper unconciously denied that there was any appeal to it. It wasn't even prey, but if she began to get worried, he would have to throw away the disguise immediately, and eating the fish was part of that. If he could have sighed, he would've; he was being a coward and that, if anything, was not a trait of something that protected something else. He just made a subtle shaking motion with his head to signal a no, hoping fervently that it wasn't food she had been planning to eat, and tried to look into her eyes, tearing his head away in order to gather himself. He had to tell her the truth soon and get it over with, or he was afraid he wouldn't see her again. There was no way for him to remember the path from his house to here.

Missie shut the door, locking it so the cat couldn`t get in before her dog came running down. She smiled at the pitbull, giving him a piece of fish. Whinnies came from the back, her semi-wild mare was awaiting her food that came in about another hour. The blonds` hazel eyes rolled, grabbing her boots and slipping them on. She then reached for her saddle and bridle, and then her shotgun. She had a deer tag, and was going to get some food, not wanting to drive. She took everything, and even her dog, and tacked up and left. The gun laid in a pouch on her saddle, that way Missie could have easy access to it if she saw a buck or a rabbit.

Kyra looked at the arctic fox, she then turned around as she could hear branches snap in the distant as it most likely was a deer wandering around and looking for some food. She then turned back to the fox and listened as she spoke, after what she had said about interrupting Kyra, Kyra said, "No, it's perfectly fine...I can't even dig further in the hole." She walked over to the burrow and looked down as she saw what had made her sneeze before, she backed away and looked back at the fox as she had said that she was a protector.

Kyra knew many things about the protectors since she was one, and she also just knew as her parents and grandparents told her many things about them and she just thought they were silly stories they came up with...but they weren't. Kyra felt the snow between her paws and shivered a bit, sure she had a coat of fur but that didn't mean that it shielded her from every cold thing on the living earth even though she most likely wished she could.

Ｍａｔｔｓｏｎ Ｐａｒｋｅｒｓｏｎ

Mattson watched as the girl climbed the tree and then what happened next scared the living crap out of him, at first the female was a girl but then she had transformed into the cougar he had seen not to long ago. He gulped and backed away as she swiped a paw at him, he almost tripped but luckily he had balanced himself. After Matt balanced himself he said to Adrie, "No, this can't be real. My grandpa told stories but no...this isn't really, it's just a silly myth." He then started mumbling to himself as he didn't know what else to say, he was shocked and what else could he really say to someone who had just transformed to a man eating animal. { Sorry wb. ^^'

Ａｍｅｌｉａ Ｇｅｍｍｉｎｇｓ

Amelia listened and laughed a bit, this was by far hard to believe that an animal talking to her wasn't a dream as others would most likely be more scared. She sighed and continued to listen, she heard her say something about protecting and right away said, "Me? Need protection? Uh...you must have the wrong Amelia then, because I'm Amelia Gemmings and the fiercest girl in this town." She pushed her hand into her pockets and was giving Amy a rather sarcastic look which was actually rather normal of Amelia.

Amelia continued to listen to her sighing every once in awhile and then listened to her recent question, she thought for a moment if it was good to trust some animal that talked in her dreams...well since she thought it was a dream she said, "Sure I'll trust you, I mean what's not to trust in a dream?" She took a moment before walking closer to the animal that stood before as she was still giving Amy a sarcastic stance.

AMY--

Amy was getting tired, "You know what, shut your mouth you little know-it-all." she said and growled, "Sorry to say, but if you don't understand I'm going to consider you dumb." she said, she transformed. "I'm Amy, I'm your protector, and I know myself you can not kill twelve bears with your hands, and don't you dare sass me with those know-it-all words, because frankly I know you can't." Amy said and had a quite angry look on her face, she did not really understand this girl, frankly she seemed silly. Amy was getting un-patient, "Your mom must have gave you too much cereal, your coo-coo-for-cocopuffs." Amy said and laughed. This girl acted pretty weird, indeed she was not the toughest girl in town, now it sounded like a fairy-tale to Amy.

"Uhh... okay." she looked at the fox, "Uh..." she said, she turned into a human "See?" she said, she quickly turned back into an arctic fox, Lucy backed up, she went onto a tree, and looked down at the fox, cocking her head back and forth trying to get a view at this fox. "E---how... how about you...?" she asked and rolled onto her back she was trying to be easy but she was pretty un-easy. She was worried, she had never really talked to a girl in a while, she wasn't much of a talker-- can you not tell?
