Kailyn looked up at Eric.

Becca walked in. "Hey girly, how're you feeling?" She asked.

Kailyn smiled. "I've been better." She said, her breathing still unsteady.

Bella smiled. "I love you."

Eric looked at Kailyn.

Jesse smiled back. "I love you too," he said. "Come on. I'm gonna get you out for a while. Act upset, I told them there was a family issue."

Becca smiled. "You'll be okay." She said.

Kailyn nodded. "Yeah, it just took a lot out of me."

Bella smiled before bursting into fake tears, which she made totally believable.

Eric looked up at Becca.

Jesse looked at her. "Wow. Okay, let's go," he said and walked out with her, rubbing her arm.

Kailyn looked at Dimka. "You okay, dad?"

Bella walked out with him. "Why is this happening?" She asked, still fake crying.

Kailyn nodded. "I was too. I didn't think I was gonna make it, and I thought I was gonna hurt Jude." She cried.

Bella waited until they were in his car to stop. "How'd I do?" She asked.

"Amazing," he said. "For a second I thought I did something wrong."
