What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I have'nt made a mutato in a really long while, due to sports, school drama, and just school in general. Also just the busy-ness of life. :c

++Reason for choosing the name;; A fae is another word for fairy folk, or a fairy in general. This mutato seems to speak to me, telling me that she deserves a beautiful, powerful, and mystical name.


+Anything about fairies/flowers/beautiful night skies?;; Well, this is kind of embarrassing, but...

I've always believed in fairies. I daydream a lot, usually imagining fairies zipping between the leaves outside while I am at school. I draw fairies a lot, I love drawing their delicate features and gossamer wings. My favorite fairy artist is Amy Brown, I draw her style of fairies often. I love this mutato, and I think she's gorgeous. Such a mysterious girl.

In earlier times -- forbidden love was written in flowers most often.

Each flower meant something; like a coded message as to not attract
the attention of the parents of the damsel.






Flowers also have different meanings -- most brides choose them
according to those meanings -- and some just choose
it simply on color and favorites ^^

A fairy -- Deirdre in Irish folklore/myth
Deirdre the fairest maiden to be born was sought after by a king
to whom wanted to marry her -- she promised she would if he gave her
one year and a day of freedom. In that time she met the man of her dreams
and he could not resist her beauty so he and his brothers settled in a tower with her.

The king heard word of this and told his messanger to invite them to a feast. Upon
asking the brothers the accepted -- but Deirdre begged her love Naois not to go as she saw
in a dream their deaths. He told her it was nothing to worry over and they all including Deirdre went to the kings palace. They stayed in the strangers house on the kings land. King gave word to his friend to spy on them -- if Deirdre was with them send 300 men to kill the brothers and bring her to him. If she was not there -- let Naois have her. He did spy her through the bicker-hole and Naois threw a dice knocking the kings friends eye right out ! Upon telling the king the king ordered the men to be killed however brothers of a neighboring land made a pact with Naois to aid them in any way possible. So they slaughtered the kings men and went home. Naois and his brothers then set out for home -- the king would not let this happen.

So he ordered the magician to come forth to him. He did as he requested and first tried to block their path with wood. But the brothers and Deirdre continued on. So the magician flooded out the land of the green plains -- but still the brothers continued -- Deirdre on top of Naois' shoulder. At last the magician froze the water giving sickness to Naois' brothers -- they died as they reached ashore and Naois' heart burst from the loss. Deirdre wept as they dug his grave making the grave wide enough for four -- Deirdre jumped in with her beloved. Angry the king had her body removed but trees sprouted from Naois' and Deirdre's graves intertwining. The king demanded them be cut -- but after the second time his now wife demanded he stop fighting with the dead.

Reason for choosing the name
Well one of the first images likely to come to mind when we think of the elegant white water lily featuring its fragrant petals ,is an image of purity, pleasure and peace. Waterlilies perfectly symbolise innocence, purity, pleasure, celebration, hope, rebirth, wellness, and peace. Ancient cultures around the world have associated the white lilies with gods and spirituality. While willow is the tree most associated with the moon, water, the Goddess and all that are feminine. It is the tree of dreaming, intuition and deep emotions. She has taken her name from her forrested home near one of the remaining clean rivers. She is often seen playing along the riverbank near the Willow trees one of which she has made her home.

Anything about fairies/flowers/beautiful night skies?
There are the night fae who tend to the nocturnal gardens. Moonflowers, night phlox, angel’s trumpet, evening primrose are common to find here. Fairy wings often help spread fragrance throughout the gardens and fields. Occasionaly flora fairies of the night also help spread early morning dew drops, everyonce in a while one will leave a small crystal, like dew, at dawn among the flowers. Perhaps in hope that some kind soul will find it. 'Lil has one such crystal and keeps it safe in her treasure box tucked safly in the roots of her willow home.
