I don't use legedaries. I just keep em for fun. I fight with my small collection of starters usually.
I can choose from squirtle/blastoise, chimchar, totodile, turtwig, piplup/empoleon and chikorita depending on what I'm versing.

Legendaries have naturally higher stats and way better moves tho, they own everything at the same level regardless of the trainer, and they take no skill to use because they cant learn tactical moves. Don't get me wrong I love legendaries, but using them is well...
Does anyone else think the same as me on that topic?

I have almost completed my heart gold game. I just need to do mount Silver which should be pretty easy. My fave pokemon to work with is my girl absol at level 70-something. I loves her!!

hyper beam works if your pokemon is on lvl 100 though xDD

Pretty much anything will OHKO an AI's pokemon if yours is at 100 just because of the level difference.
You could replace it with most anything, and you wouldn't even have to sacrifice the turn.

When playing at an equal level though, it's usually not worth the skipped turn. ^_^" You could probably do more damage using a less powerful move twice than using hyper beam the once--Especially since normal isn't super effective against anything.

(please forgive my nerdy-ness x_x I'm a bit on the competitive side with pokemon lol)

Same here. I used to use legendaries because I hadn't trained my Pokemon very well (when I was younger and all), but now I just have this whole heap of legendaries sitting in my PC.

Someone told me that once you catch a legendary, it becomes a normal pokemon, but I don't think that's right....
