Jasper: Open; protecting Missie

Ticks went off in Jasper's brain, slight emotional things that left him wanting to go back home. He was fairly certain, however, that should he heed them, his forehead would tense up the second he opened the door. He wasn't in danger, but he wasn't actively seeking it, either. The idea that eventually he would be lured into something beyond the quiet of his own existence, his own decisions, was dangerous, but beautiful; the cold was soothing, alluring. His legs felt too energized to ignore, and it was this that eventually drove him to switch his pace for one more suited to that of a Protector from Panthera. Hunting was not beyond Jasper, but as long as he wasn't hungry, he wouldn't do it; it wasn't a heroic inhibition, but a stubborn one. He hated eating without having to. He was skilled at leaping into trees - trees were, in all actuality, written into a leopard's system - but tracing his footsteps throughout the white was all he wanted to do.
A roar escaped his throat, letting a small part of the forest know that he was there. Misplaced, but there.

Missie panicked, hearing a roar. "What the?" She said, opening the door.

Jasper had heard something, albeit a faint something, and he wasn't about to discard the notion that anything that wasn't muffled by the weather was important. Sliding to as eloquent a stop as he could, he stood shock still, the snow piling on his pelt and falling off again. There was a bit off with the audibility of the sound - it was like a girl - the same girl he had seen earlier? No, not that one. Toning down the aggressiveness he believed could be in his face and closing his mouth entirely, he glanced in the direction of the noise. He had ran into an area near a home; that explained it. Briefly considering simply racing away but deterred by the ache in his muscles, he stared at the person opening the door, his eyes keen but not ferocious. If he had any semblance of luck today, she would take him for his proper species and wonder what this animal was doing here.

Missoe laid eyes on a type of leopard. She blinked in confusion, looking to see if she was mistaken. She stepped out, wearing sweatpants and a t shirt, large jacket covering her upper body. Her hazel eyes watched the large male, her mind wondering why he was here. Once close enough, she took out her phone, lookjng up the amur leopard, wondering about their habbitat. She ran her hand over the soft fur among the head, looking into the eyes for any sign of aggressiveness. "Well your a little odd." She said.

{ Yesh, sorry I meant Aurora. Kaden is protecting Grace and Aurora doesn't have a protector yet?

Aria's father once said that Aria should get her head out of the clouds. Aria had had no idea what he was saying; she was in human form, on the ground, and her thoughts were perfectly lucid. She later learned what it meant, and was slightly irritated. She had a perfect state of mind on a regular basis, and lack of sleep or emotional state did little to faze her. It came as a complete surprise, when she wasn't even aware that she had turned away from her house, back towards the cave. She still wasn't aware when she turned a corner and came face to face with another girl. Stopping in her tracks, Aria nearly stumbled. She blinked in surprise, face a whirl of emotions. Shaking off the jitters, she said silkily, "Why, hello." a pause, then, "What's your name?"

Oh, no.
Jasper was dizzy all of a sudden; his body wanted him to set his ears back, to get her hand off of him. But three quarters of him was confused, torpid. The line between one emotion and the next was blurred for four seconds, and once he recovered, he was still standing in the same place, looking at the same girl. And, he realized, it didn't have anything to do with a headache. This was the person he was meant to protect. Instinctively, he closed his eyes, both to convince her that he under no circumstances meant any harm and to make a quick decision. He couldn't switch forms just yet, could he? No. No, that would shock her too much. So he relaxed further, still holding enough dignity not to purr; that was going too far, even for him.
