I feel the same way. X3 I'm really hoping for a peahen from the third. <3
It just bothered me that it was typed as though 'peacock' was the name for both genders, I dun really care what others see the pups as. X3

On the terms of gender...I've always veiwed these two as peacocks:

Mainly because they both have the more 'bright' coloring of a Peacock. Peahens, from what I know, have barely any color at all. Peacock's have bright feathering to attract females - and even though the first one doesn't have the 'tail' marking, it still has quite a bit of color, mainly near it's hind-quarters; which could represent the 'tail' of a Peacock.

This one, however, I definitely see as a Peahen; since it doesn't have any color at all near it's hind-quarters to boast a tail. And, as is common in Peahen's, it only has color on it's head.

I agree with this to! What about the PeaPS though?

xD PeaPS is definitely male. Peahens are always grayish-brown, sometimes with green/blue heads. The bright, blue feathers are trademark of a Peacock. You'll never see such a vibrant Peahen, because, as previously stated, the Peacock's have to be the vibrant ones, since it's the males job to attract the female. The more vibrant the feathers, the better chance of winning a Peahen's affection.

Madame Butterfly wrote:*cough* I see the Peaps as a boy as well... but, well... they're really
dogs. So the peacock vs peahen argument is invalid... as they are
neither. xD Inspired by, yes. But we have complete creative license with the genders because they're doggies ~<3

Now
this beauty here reminds me of a pink raspberry creamsicle
Some of us enjoy giving them gender corresponding what they are based on however, so the discussion is very valid. =/
