~The stallion is a Sooty Bay, complete with the dapples which sometimes occur with the sooty gene. His eyes a green, which is surprising as his trinkits are closer to amber. His feathers were taken from a European Robin~

I'm TimeLord~Jedi and I am trying out for this Terran, but if I happen to win this guy will belong to my friend CleaDemigod. She's new to the site and hasn't quite learned the basics yet, but she really liked this boy so I thought I ought to give it a shot for her.

Percy. That's what she wanted to name him, and now that I give him a good look he does kind of look like a Percy. XD

When first meeting him, Percy seems to be a little shy at first. He doesn't say a whole lot, and tends to keep to himself. However when in his own domain he has a very 'no-nonsense' kind of attitude that makes you stand just a bit straighter. But even then there is still more to this young stallion then meets the eye. When he's alone with those he cares about the most, he doesn't hesitate to let loose and have fun. When freed from any of his suffocating responsibilities he is energetic, funny, and even a bit flirty. He is a pleasure to be around, and is loyal to the bitter end.

Percy wasn't sure how long he had been walking, but judging by the fact that he couldn't even smell his herd anymore and the surrounding forest was completely foreign to him, he estimated it to be about 4 hours that he had been wandering. Yes he had wanted to get away from the stress, but not this far away. How was he going to find his way back now? The stallion shook his head and continued onward. That was a bridge he would cross when he got there. He could hear the faint roar of a river in the distance and frankly, he was parched.
When he finally did reach the river he found it was in an area where the bank was too high and the water was too fast. He wasn't even going to take the risk of falling in, so instead he voted to continue down the river and find a more calm spot to take a drink and rest. While searching he took a moment to admire the surrounding woodlands. The canopy above him was practically burning with the blazing reds, oranges, and golds of fall. The woods were teeming with life and the mist from the river was refreshing. It was a dramatic, but welcome change from the barren, rocky, dry, and freezing mountain summit he called home. He could live down here, and as he thought it over in his head the idea became more and more tempting.
Eventually he spotted the perfect area to relax; a small beach dotted with patches of grass that look like a rather comfortable spot to doze off for a while. Problem was, it was nearly surrounded by boulders. Slippery boulders.
Unfortunately Percy didn't notice the slippery part, because when he went to climb over the rocks his hooves slipped out from under him and he nearly fell, just managing to catch himself last minute. For a moment he couldn't breathe and his heart pounded in his chest at the thought of what had almost transpired. He could have seriously hurt himself there.
"Okay so obviously that isn't going to work..." He muttered, taking a moment to prepare himself before he took another cautious step down onto another boulder. One boulder at a time, one hoof after another, he finally landed safely on the beach still perfectly intact. He thanked whatever deity ruled these skies for allowing him to make it down safely, then lumbered over to the river and took a long well deserved drink.
"Having some trouble there?"
Percy's eyes shot open at the voice and he whirled around, coming face to face with another stallion.
The other stallion was much taller than Percy, with a lean frame and a sooty champagne coat covered in smaller spots. He was a strange looking one, but he seemed nice enough. However Percy still kept his guard up. "Yeah I guess you could say that." He replied.
The new stallion chuckled. "You're not from around here are you? No one from these areas would slip on a wet boulder. We're more careful than that. Slightly smaller frame...Longer coat...And being wary of everything surrounding you right now, including myself...I'd say that you come from the mountainous regions. Well welcome down to the lower areas! Call me Aras!"
This 'Aras' seemed nice enough. Percy allowed himself to relax, and returned Aras's warm smile. "Call me Percy...And yes I am actually from the mountains. How'd you figure that out?" He asked. Aras shrugged. "Lucky guess." Aras replied, then grinned. "Hey, how about you come with me real quick. A friend of mine saw you walking through here and thought you could use a good rest. Said something about you looking half starved...Aracelis can be of a worrier at times, but even I have to agree with her on this." Aras explained, turning and beginning to trot off. Percy nodded and went after him.
Hmmm...Friendly locals. Percy might just be staying here for a while after all.
(Hmmm....I see a Adam Levine/Blake Shelton style bromance on the horizon. XD)
