I just saw someone on facebook who thinks the military is basically stupid. That they're all suicidal, and should stop asking for discounts everywhere and whatnot. That "soldiers aren't heroic'. that all problems need to be sorted out peacefully.
Excuse me. So if, lets say, some country blows up another country, we're supposed to just go over and say 'please stop, that's not nice."?
Last time I checked, the last time they tried turning a blind eye, WW2 started.
It would be great, yes, if all problems could be solved simply like they were in pre-school and kindergarten. If that were the case, my dad would still be alive. But this is how human nature is, just like with all animals. We all fight for dominance, weather we know it or not. We all want more land, more money, but there are messed up people in this world who rely on violence for everything, and therefore, our world will never be totally and completely at peace. Too many religions fighting for power, too many power hungry jerk-wads who want more, more, and more.

I posted it... in the same place you did... like... wouldn't it have been easier just to reblog my post? Like that takes 2 seconds and making a whole new post takes a lot longer.
