It's just one of the most popular ones and there are many, many, many hoarders.

Some hoard every outcome and some just a few, but this one is definitely just very sought after and seems rarer.

My guess is that they'll start off as common, like every previous staff pet litter. Ya never know though!

Yes, I've seen loads of hoarders for that particular outcome...which does make it seem rarer. But as all staff pets are released equally to ensure no artist seems favored or anything, it's impossible that it is rarer than the others. Just hoarders and popularity.

Each year in December everyone has the opportunity to adopt pets that have been released years ago, including 2009/2008 VRs. There is also a very slim chance to own a "un-released" pet and these have not ever been released and will only be available once a year. This usually occurs on the 18th and 24th of December.

Though I do believe there is a 1 in 300,000 chance of getting a omg so rare zebra from any horse adoption am I right?
I mean I do remember seeing someone had a newborn zebra outside of Christmas advent because of a hiccup in the odds making it easier that month..

There was the chance to get the Zebra while adopting horses and ponies, but not every month, just from time to time. I haven't see one adopted with horse/pony litters for quite a while, so probably now they can be adopted only during December re-release.

Didn't one show up about this time last year? Or maybe it was two years ago... I remember everyone went pretty crazy over it.
