Lexi sighed, and walked home. She went straight to her room so she wouldn't have to face her dad when he first came home.

I walked back home and pushed my stepdad from my path and went upstairs and Nathan was on my bed curled up under the sheets on my pillow. Which seemed odd and when he turned over I ssaw why he was there. His face was red and I could see a handprint on his cheek. "he hit you?" I asked in shock and he nodded crying into my chest

When morning fell, Lexi had had just about enough of it all. Lexi found herself in an alleyway, holding her knees against her chest as she cried, hiding her face. SShe was alone of course.

That morning I took Nathan out to take his mind off of what happened last night and we ended up taking the quad out. I sat him in front of me with a helmet on as well as me and decided since I had a liscense for it I would go around town with him and towards the woods we always go to

Sydney frowned, walking through town. She noticed a boy with blonde hair, rather tanned, emerald green eyes. She went up to him. "Jay! Do you know where Lexi is...?" She asked.
"No... Why?"
"She hasn't been answering her phone, and Scotty has no idea either." She frowned.

"Jake let's go in the park!" he said over the engine and I turned into the part of the park where they had nature trails that went around the town and behind a few buildings

Lexi frowned, and took a deep breath to calm herself. She stood up, and simply walked out, asking as though nothing had happened. She walked, keeping her eyes locked on the ground, so she had no clue where she was going...

The roar of the engine filled the air around us and I pulled doughnuts and skidded in the mud hearing him scream and laugh
