Hurts Like Heaven

Rebellion is a fairly big dog. His parents were both purebred Akbash dogs ,which means he is a purebred Akbash as well. He’s got white fur and Brown eyes. Also his real name is Purdy, but if you ever call him that he’ll eat you alive, if you find out about it anyway.
Written in graffiti on a bridge in a park,
'Do you ever get the feeling that you're missing the mark?'
It's so cold, it's so cold,
It's so cold, it's so cold.
I Would Hardly Call Anything 'The Ordinary',But I Suppose This Will Do
As If It Wasn't Obvious
He’s a male, obviously.
Good Thing He's Not A Lady
He is four years old, not that it really matters.
The Blood Runs Thick
His mother was known as Dina, she died giving birth to him and his siblings, he knew his father as Paru, he was put down because he had a disease of some sort when Rebellion was two.
My Siblings,Hurt Them You Die.Simple As That
They aren’t worth mentioning, they didn’t survive.
You'll Soon Find Out My Skills
He is the Hurts Like Heaven dog, duh.
Could You Be The One?
Haha! Oh, that was a serious question? Well, he has no crush.
You Have The Key
He has no love, he has no time for that.
Pass On My Blood
He has never had pups and has no interest in having any now.
Written up in marker on a factory sign,
'I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine'.
It's so cold, it's so cold,
It's so cold, it's so cold.
There's So Much More If You Dig A Little Deeper
I Must Admit My Flaws
Of course Rebellion has his flaws, not that he cares to admit them. If it were up to him he would just think he was perfect all the time, well he sort of does. He thinks and acts like he is perfect, always has been and always will be, obviously that is one of his flaws. In fact it may actually be one of his biggest flaws considering that he is a trouble maker, and a ruler breaker, but we’ll get more into that later. He thinks his way of life is the only way of life, he’s not willing to try anybody else’s way of life, he thinks they are all lame. He’s not afraid to speak his mind, this sometimes gets him into trouble, which he likes, but it’s still a fault. He gets himself into more trouble than he can get himself out of. Not that he really cares. Where there’s a will there’s a way right? He’s very over confident, very prideful as well. It’s obvious just by looking at him. He’s not good at hiding his negative emotions, but very good at hiding his positive ones. This makes him seem rather cruel, and unreliable, which is what he wants you to think. Yes he thinks very highly of himself, but hidden deep down there are doubts Sh…Don’t tell him I told you that. Anyway that’s all I can think of right now, you can discover other faults on your own.
With Flaws Come Good Points
Well he clearly has no problem boasting about his strengths. It could be his good looks that tend to get him whatever he wants, well they used to anyway. It could be the hard muscles he has under his lovely white coat. Maybe it’s his warm dark brown eyes? His sweet disposition? Well it can’t be that last option, he certainly isn’t sweet. Maybe deep down he is, but on the surface not so much, of course you can always learn about that later. Well he is quite strong, this could just be due to his large size. He can intimidate foes most of the time just by giving them a scary look, so the scowl he always wears on his face. He does actually have a great sense of humor, so though he gets mad easily, he can easily laugh it off. When you really get to know him you may see just how much of a sweetheart he can be, but no promises. He’s quite stealthy, and very clever, this makes him a great hunter and fighter. No he’s not the best, he’ll never be the best, but he tends to use his brute size and strength to win fights, if he gets into any. Most try to avoid him due to his bad reputation. Who wants to be friends with a trouble maker? Good thing he is independent, maybe that isn’t a good thing, but it allows him to survive in this world, that, my friends, is a good thing.
So I Have You Interested Hm?
Oh what a fun thing to be discussed by him! He’ll tell you all sorts of good things about himself. He’ll say he’s handsome, he’s smart, he’s funny. Obviously he’s quite vain, but don’t let that fool you, all the things he says he is he really is, but he’s a lot more than that. There’s much more you won’t see. You’ll see how selfish he is, how much he loves trouble, how much he hates rules. You will get to see him being vain, temper-mental, stubborn, even violent. Yet there are hidden secrets, hidden emotions behind his façade. Perhaps a sweet side is somewhere in there, but you’ll have to see for yourself. That could take quite a bit of digging. There could also be some sort of caring in there, towards others rather than just himself. His heart is stone, to protect himself. That is really why he keeps up this ‘tough guy who doesn’t have to follow the rules’ act. He just doesn’t want to be hurt by anybody, he also doesn’t want to be the one doing the hurting. He’s hard to impress for these reasons, it’s not easy to gain his trust, and he would actually prefer that you didn’t grow to trust him either. All I can say is that he has his reasons, maybe you’ll find out later. Now you see just what a wonderful personality he has! What do you think? Eh, you’re probably not too impressed by him are you? I suppose you should know he doesn’t care. Approve of him or not, like him, love him, hate him, he’s himself and he will never change that. He’s confident in his skin, if you have a problem with him you can tell him, but he’ll just blow you off and continue doing what he’s doing. I’ll tell you this, it isn’t easy to gain his respect, but if you tell him what you think of him to his face it may get you a little bit. He probably won’t like you, he doesn’t really like anybody, but it will get you respect, and possibly loyalty as well. If you do like his personality then maybe, just maybe, you can become his friend, but I make you no promises. After all this has been said, there’s just one thing left to say…If you have the joy of meeting him…Good luck.
Oh You Really Want To Know More?
He was born, that’s all you’re getting! Haha, just kidding! Alright, let’s get started. Well he was born is the correct place to start at least. When was born his mother died giving birth to him, he was the last of his siblings to be born. He wasn’t the runt, but he wasn’t the biggest, yet he was the only one to survive. How the others died was a mystery to him, they just started to disappear one by one in the night, he really is just guessing they died and the humans came and took them away. They all had the same ‘motherly’ figure tending to them, she didn’t seem to notice them disappearing, as if it had happened before or something. Anyway, Rebellion spent very little time with his father so he didn’t really miss his father when he had to be put down due to whatever disease he had. Then the humans became enticed with Rebellion, they had named him Purdy, but he hated that name, so he named himself Rebellion. The reasons for this change should be obvious by now. Yet if you really can’t understand yet it’s because he is a rebel, a trouble-maker. Do I really have to repeat all of this for you? No? You got it? Good. Then I’ll carry on in his story. Now…Where was I? Ah yes…
The humans spent the next two years training Rebellion to be their little angel dog. They gave him treats, treated him with kindess, they played with him even. Yet something was off, with each passing day they had him stay in the outside world longer and longer. He had never met any other dogs once the humans started to truly care for him. The first time they introduced him to the outside world they stayed with him, letting him explore for a little bit. They left him wanting more. Each time they let him out for longer periods of time, they also seemed to stay farther and farther away from him every time. He never tried to run, he always went to them when they called him. He thought they were going to get rid of him with how much they were starting to pull away from him, but they didn’t. One day they didn’t come out with him at all, and they left him out until the sun went down. At first it had been fun, but after awhile there was nothing left to do, no more exploring to be done. He got bored, that was when he started to cause trouble. He was angry with the humans, he started ripping things up, digging around. He made a huge mess. The humans got mad, they called him in, and locked him in a cage for two days witout food or water. When they finally fed him and gave him water they let him out of the cage, they let him outside. They seemed to have forgiven him, the day was wonderful for him. The next day was not.
In the night they put him into a crate, he couldn’t see anything, but he knew he was moving. It seemed to take forever to get where they were going. He didn’t know where they were taking him, but he already knew it couldn’t be good. Had he done something so wrong? It wasn’t his fault was it? What did the humans expect him to do if they put him outside alone for so long? When they went out with him they gave him some commands that they usually taught him inside, he did them, but he hadn’t really gotten rewarded besides some kind words that he learned to recognize, the words ’ good boy’ that the humans often used. He didn’t know why they had done this, but they taught him a lot. When they let him out of the crate he was outside, in lands that he did not recognize. He was by a lake, but there was plenty more to see. The humans didn’t pet him, or give him anything, they just watched him for a bit, then they climbed back into the truck they had and drove of. Rebellion chased after the truck, but it was too fast for him to catch, he gave up after it got out of sight and then took in his surroundings. Why had they brought him out here? Had he made them so angry? Was this the wild? This angered him, he became closed in after that. He clearly couldn’t trust anybody, if he did one thing wrong everybody would turn their backs on him. He would be a rebel then, and only trust himself. This would keep others away from him, he would never be hurt again. Now his future is a mystery, so let’s see what happens.
See the arrow that they shot, trying to tear us apart,
Take the fire from my belly and the beat from my heart.
Still I won't let go,Still I won't let go
You Ooohooh 'Cause you do,
Oh you use your heart as a weapon,
And it hurts like heaven.
