RP Rant Thread X3

This is like the Artist Rant Thread only for Rping.

So here you can rant about things like:

1. That annoying user who's characters are uber perfect.
2. That one rule that you hate.
3. Even when you can't think of ANYTHING to write in one RP or another.
4. Or maybe the lack of human RPs or something similar.

So blow of some steam, and remember:

1. No names
2. Be nice to other people ranting here
3. And...yeah...XD

I, for once, have nothing to vent about, just posting so I don't lose this for when I want to yell about something somebody's done. xD

And so as not to spam, I will rant.

Someone got my new RP LOCKED for art theft because the pic they used for their character isn't alowed to be used D8 D8!!! We hadn't even started yet!!! *kicks wall*
Luckily the mod said it would reopen soon. *whew*

An old rant:

Back when i was new to CS i got bored so i decided to join some RP's because i did some RP's at howrse. So i accidently made my warrior cat names like FireStar(just an example) and the creator yelled at me for a stupid mistake. 1) I said sorry and the person still yelled at me. 2) I was still getting used to RPing because i guess you could of considered me a new to RPing.

the person who ran the RP was really annoying because her parents dictated EVERYTHING. There was pretty much NO romance, which meant that cats were suddenly together and kits magicly appeared out of nowhere because there was never a referance to them being pregnant or anything.
Plus the battle scenes were REALLY boring because her parents didn't aprove of blood or anything of that sort.
PLUS the members fought to no end >.< I got out as fast as I could.

I was once in an RP in which the leader didn't know what she was doing. Her rules were fine, and they made enough sense but she made quite a few mistakes. It was a stray dog RP, and her dog was perfect. He lay down the rules and always followed them. If your character disagreed with him about anything, he expected them to be shunned by the entire pack. We were never allowed to do anything that involved actually making a plot, but had to do exactly as she said. The high point in the entire 31 pages was when she had us sit in one corner of our camp if we wanted a mate, the other corner if we didn't. About four people participated. In the end, the owner closed it because she thought it was boring. All I could say was "Seriously?!"

I have another one that is fairly new. There was a warrior cats roleplay that i was in that died then the creator brought it back and it died AGAIN. Now im waiting for the owner to get it back up then die then so on and so on.

Ugh, annoying people X3

I was in this one RP that revolved around these special wolves with this magic power called Sight. And the owner said to PM her about it if we wanted Sight. So I did and she said ok, but when I posted my form she said
"Well, before I can allow you to have the sight I have to see if your character's personality is right."
And I'm like
WHAT!?!?! And I never did get Sight, she said NOTHING about it after words and I got bored of the RP and left.
What really annoys me is if someone PMs you asking for something special in the RP and you say yes, you have to deal with whatever monster you may have created. These is no "personality check" ESPECIALLY if you never said there would be one.

And on the subject of dying RPs, I was in an RP recently that died, so the owner brought it back hoping to revive it. By then I was bored so I quit and then the owner PMs me, trying to guilt trip me into rejoining and going all.
"Here's a quote. Now see the damage you did?"
I had my reasons for quitting and they were lagit. And I think that the owner just needs to accept the fact that the RP is old news and move on!

I know how you feel. The RP I was talking about above was one of my faves and it was the only RP I've ever been in that lasted longer than a month. Every other one that I've made or been in died within the month and sometimes within one or two weeks. X3
