What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Haven't really been having a good week. So, I put it into a mutato xD have fun with this one <3

Beatrice
-Reason for choosing the name-
The name Beatrice seems to have many meanings. They all mean in some way blesses or bringer of joy but that is not the main reason why I picked the name. I picked the name based off the play 'Much Ado About Nothing' which is written by Shakespeare. The character Beatrice reminds me of this little Mutato, I guess it's mostly because I can see this Mutato having a similar personality as the character Beatrice.

++Reason for choosing the name - Well, I love Japanese names for some reason, and Akahana signifies the colour 'red in Japanese. I also like the way it sounds, and how it's unique. That name also reminds me of something such as a Mutato, and it's probably just me and my liking for Japanese names but I see it as it suits this Mutato well :3

reason: The reason I chose that name is because it means inspiration in Japanese.

There are a few reasons why I would love to name this Mutato Once.

1. When I read that we had to add a motivational/happy quote, I immediately wanted to use a Dr. Seuss quote. I decided to use one from one of my favourite books/movies, The Lorax.
2. after deciding the quote, I thought about what the Mutato's body/tail reminded me of. The tail is like a wilting Truffula Tree, or the smog that comes from the factory. The heart is (speaking in the movie sense) how the Once-ler felt about what had happened to the trees.

So, Once is derived from Once-ler.

Hello there! I am Bananer - Nice to meet you!

This mutato will recieve the name: William, after William Shakespeare.


In school at the moment - we're reading about William Shakespeare and about his plays. I got especially stuck with his Romeo and Juliet, It's a very sad story and i feel empahty in it. It's very beautiful written and he is an unice writer indeed. It's very interesting how much burden a person can bear within his heart without collapsing his inner walls.
