She reached into her pocket, and pulled out a cigarette. Over the summer her Mom had made her go cold turkey, though her Dad didn't care if she did, her Mom was forceful about it. All she really did now was hold it in her hands. She desperately wanted to smoke, but her lighter was back at the dorm. She stared at the scenery and noticed a tear slipping down her cheek. She brushed it away with her sleeve and shook her head.

Maya then decided to go outside of the school. She was good at jumping. She remembered how she would jump down from the second story and still not get hurt. A smile played on Maya's lips as she jumped out the window and laded on her feet. She then got up and brushed her hands and then started walking.

I was bored out of my mind, and couldn't wait to go explore the school, maybe spot some potential friends. I quickly threw my hair up in a bun and walked to the door, giving Eddy a sarcastic salute. "Sianorah, I'm outta here," I said to him before stepping into the corridors of the dormitory. I scanned the hallways, not noticing anyone. I shrugged and kept walking. I had to admit, I looked pretty cute today. A baseball tee with blue sleeves, army green cut offs, and brown leather American Eagle sandals- enough said.

Rory headed down the hallway, trying to figure the place out as he went. He really didn't know where a single thing was. The new kid and the sick kid? Great. At least one of those he could conceal. Most people have been here already for three years, this being their fourth. With a yawn and a glance behind him he almost ran into a girl as he went around a corner. he let out a startled " Sorry" His brain still processing the fact he almost hit her.

As I kept walking, a boy caught my eye. He was weird, but in all the right ways. His hair was a white, silvery color, yet he was obviously so young. His eyes were gorgeous— a stunning icy blue. As I kept walking, I kept my own hazel optics on him as I neared him, quickly glancing down before he could've caught me staring. He came awfully close to hitting me, and I heard a "Sorry," escape his lips as he did so. "Oh, no— you're fine," I told him with a smile, my gaze quickly meeting his. I wondered if he was new, like me, but didn't ask him just yet.
