Swiftstormed lifted his head from his paws, blinking and shaking slumber from his mind. He could hear bird calls ringing in his ears and he twitched his tail in annoyance. He rolled onto his back, moss gripping to his thick fur. Turmoil in the hollow got his attention and he rolled to his paws with a sharp grumble. He moved to the opening of the Warrior's Den, peeking out to see Cloudfur, laying beside the Medicine Cat's Den. He could see by the wounds across the she-cat's body and the pain that twinkled in her eyes that something had happened and worry struck him like a thorn in his paw.
He pinned his ears back in annoyance, thinking to himself, Have I really just slept through everything?
He headed off forward, his paws prickling with worry as he approached the she-cat, Sunblaze sitting beside her. Stormcloud came towards the Medicine Cat an instant before and a moment later, Sunblaze was gone.
Swiftstorm lowered his head, pressing himself to Cloudfur's level as he stared over her wounds.
"Are you alright?" He asked cautious, his voice soft.

Ashpaw sat upon her favorite branch a towering oak tree. This was her favorite tree for many reasons. It was the tallest in all the woods and she enjoyed the climb to the top and the feeling of being able to watch over everything on their territory. It was also the most lively tree in the woods. Birds nested on many branches, not being bothered by Ashpaw. They never seemed afraid of her, because she never even once thought of hurting them. Abandoned dens wove under the roots of the trees and holes within the trunk showed where squirrels and various creatures lived. Ashpaw was just another one of the life forms that enjoyed the tree.
Ashpaw listened to the world moving beneath her. Her eyes waved back to camp where she could see the cats stirring, carrying an injured cat, healing her, many things unfolding under her paws. She grabbed the trunk, unsheathing her claws into the bark as she scrambled down the large tree, landing delicately on the forest floor and heading back towards camp, knowing she wasn't supposed to be out in the first place.
