The Crystal River Wolves


The Plot

This story begins with a pack. This pack, was called the Crystal River Pack, named after the crystal-clear river that runs through the forest and plains they call home. Their territory takes up just over half the valley, as the other chunk is a very uninviting, dark place, as the sides of the valley cast a shadow onto that chunk of land. This pack has lived here now, for generations and generations. The current Alpha, Aroura, has lead her pack through some very tough times, and every threat, the pack thought away.

But little did Aroura know, their biggest threat yet would come from inside her own pack. A young wolf, named Clay, who was a fighter at the time, wanted to be alpha, so much that he was determined to do anything to achieve it. When Aroura had to choose a new beta, and didn't choose Clay, he snapped. He fled the pack, and started his own, using the shadowed territory that the Crystal River wolves dared not venture into.

Clay had a heart of ice, but was a natural born leader. He established his new pack - The Shadow Forest Pack. Loners came, and Clay built up his pack. He threataned to take over The Crystal River Pack's territory, and take over the pack.

Aroura was obviously worried that he would attack her, but she wasn't put off staying there. The Crystal River Pack had this territory first, so it was rightfully theirs. Soon, other wolves came and joined their packs, and she hasn't heard from Clay since the incident. But Aroura hasn't lowered her guard, she isn't stupid.

Clay was just waiting for the right time to attack, building up his pack.

What happens next? Well, that is where you come in! You can join either pack, or be a loner, it's all up to you! It has been about 4 weeks or so since Clay threatened Aroura, and now it's your turn to help tell the story.


The Rules.
*Groan* Yes, the rules. There are alot, but if you follow them, there won't be any problems.
1. Don't fight in OCC (Out of character) and use () or [] or {} when you're out of character.
2. Don't kill other peoples characters without asking them
3. Don't force anyone to mate with your character. It's their choice if they wish to.
4. Don't have your wolves have crushes on or be mates with your own characters.
5. You can have as many characters as you want, but if you make a male, make a female, and vice-versa. Basicly, try to equal out your genders! Also, if you make a wolf in one pack, make one in the other as well!
6. Keeps levels of violent scenes and romance to the level of PG-13.
7. Follow Tess' rules as well
8. No godmodding or perfect characters, no cussing either.
9. If you have read the rules put Rushing River in other.
10. The max pages you can go without me is 10. I like to read whats going on myself (Ignore if I'm on holiday, or if I say that you can for a specific reason.)
11. You can write up to 2 sentences min, as long as it gives something to a person to reply to. Try your best at spelling and grammar!
12. If someone has the name you want, you can message me and I will help you to think of one!
13. If you have more than one wolf, please do them all in the same post - It makes my life and yours a bit easier
14. Don't bully/annoy/harrass another player.
15. Yearlings are wolves that are being trained to be a hunter, fighter or medic. When they are a year old, they are assessed to see if they are made to be a hunter, fighter, medic, ECT. If they aren't good at anything, they are made omega's. But if they have some potential in one field or another, they are trained in that. They are trained by all the hunters/fighters/medics AND the lead hunter/lead fighter/lead medic (Whatever they are being trained in.) Sometimes they get set mentors, but rarely.
16. You must have at least 2 sentances in your personality, not just "meet me".
17. History is optional.
18. Give recaps to anyone who needs one.
19. Please be active! I don't usually kick anyone for being inactive, but if it gets that far I might do so.
20. You can use any picture for your wolf's looks, as long as it is a photo of a real wolf.

History:
Aroura has a pretty normal upbringing. She was the daughter of a hunter, and proved herself to be a great pack member, rising up the ranks to become Delta, then Beta, then Alpha, which she still is today.

Personality:
Clay is a stern leader, with a heart seemingly made of ice. He doesn't trust easily, and therefore takes a while to decide on his Beta's and Delta's. He expects maximum respect from his pack, or he gets angry and will snap at them. He would only be compassionate to his mate, as it takes alot to get through to the true wolf inside of him. If a wolf dared challenge his rank or authority, he will snarl and threaten them, but he doesn't usually attack wolves from his own pack, as he needs all the wolves he can get if he is to have any chance at taking over Aroura's land and pack.
History:
Clay had always been an ambitious wolf, from the moment he was born. He had been a fun, happy wolf, and loyal to the Crystal River Pack. He was sure that Aroura would make him the beta when one needed to be chosen again. But when she didn't choose him, he got angry, as it would take even longer to become Alpha now. He left the pack, and started his own, threataning to steal her pack's land and take over her pack.

Chance can be shy at first, but he will quickly warm up to other wolves, so they quickly find out his true personality. He can get competitive and shows off a bit sometimes, but it's all in good fun. He's not one to judge quickly, but if you disrespect him, his pack, or the ones he cares about, be warned. He may be a hunter, but he can fight as well, verbal or physical.
History:
Chance and his sister, Mira, were loners, looking for a pack. They came to the valley and scented wolves there, but they got lost and seperated. Chance found a wolf from The Crystal River Pack, who took him to their Alpha, Aroura. He joined their pack, and decided to find Mira and get her to join too, as he had finally found what they were looking for - A pack. Little did he know, that when he soon found his sister, that she had found a pack too - The Shadow Forest Pack. This saddened Chance, as they both wanted to be with eachother, but they had to be loyal to their packs.

History:She has had a normal life besides from a fire causing her family to move home,luckily no one was hurt. Sapphire was born in a little of 3 being the 1st to be born out of all of them.Turning 2 Years Old,she left her family and eventually found The Crystal River Pack and became a hunter.

History:Just an average life.He was born in a litter of four,him being the 2nd born. He grew to have the normal life a pup should have such as playing with his littermates.He was big enough to hunt for himself at the age of 7 months. From that point he continued to learn and before long when he turned two years old. He decided to say goodbye and went to find pack. Razor had to wander around a bit to found it.

Personality: One word to describe her is savage. She is hostile and aggressive towards new wolves and is a real fighter she will fight anytime, anywhere, with anyone. Although, if you get to know her sweet side..the wolf she was before her parents ruined her.. then you will see a completely different side of her. A bouncy-joyous fae, almost acting like a pup. And if she falls in love with you, then watch out cause she is a completely different wolf.

History: When ebony was just a pup she was abandoned by her parents, forced to grow up wild and cruel she is still set in those ways. Sometimes you just do not want to be around her.

Personality: Bullet is a large brute, and he uses that to his advantage but he is also very nimble. these attributes contribute to why he is a fighter, he is good at it. He also , though, loves to fight. it is almost his favorite thing to do... it is close second to flirting with the faes. Bullet has never thought about settling down with a fae and having pups but he would if he got the chance at the right fae.

History: Bullet grew up like any other wolf until when he was two years old, his mother was killed by a gun... by a bullet. Right then the wolf decided he would be called bullet and he would avenge his mother. To this day he still will kill any human he sees.. but does not go out looking for humans. he learned his lesson when part of his ear was shot off.
