Adurna smiled gently. "Just thinking about the Masquerade and thinking on how to get that guy to stop staring at me. He's starting to creep me out." She said, flicking her fingers in the direction of the man.

Derik glance out the window, but his eyes follow the path of her fingers to face the guy, he seemed a little odd, he hadn't blinked at all since he saw her, it start creeping him out too. he look back at the table and start thinking "hm..."

Remus smiled and laid down "don't worry I'm gonna be here all night"he said he pretended like he was big and strong but he wasn't

Sirius smiled softly, glad to have such a friend they'd stay with him even though he knew he must be a bother. He snuggled closer into Remus and made a soft happy noise.

Helgrind snarled softly and kept his arms locked around him, trying to not let Sampson be torn to shreds. "Little help here?" he asked Jess when she came in.

Jess pushed Sampson back out of the room, and he for once obeyed the intention of a lower ranking person. She said "Maybe you should stay out for awhile, hmm?" Then looked over at Jay and walked over. She said softly to him "Jay, stop it. Stop this." She registered the stinging of nails only moments after it happened and snarled softly as she smacked him and said "Right now! Stop being a brat!"

Sirius smiled again at the soft warm and gentle hug from the other boy and he yawned and closed his eyes, muzzling his face into Remus' neck.

David sighed softly and looked at her. "He can still go... They wouldn't dare to harm you or him." he said softly.

Addy smiled sweetly at Derik, trying to make it seem like they didn't notice. "Hmm, is right." she mumbled.

Helgrind sighed softly in frustration but was glad that he hadn't been the one to hit Jay. He winced a bit as his leg trobbed but ignored it for the most part as he made sure that Jay couldn't get away to kill Sampson.

Jess narrowed her eyes more as the 'brat' in question hissed in pain, which for some reason satisfied her. She panted with the anger and slight stress, then picked up on yet another whimper he didn't seem to notice he had made. And then she realized what must have set him off. "Helgrind, I think I know what caused this. Was the doctor by any chance teasing him about liking you, or anything like that?"
