Tempest nods, "I see." she says quietly in reply. The white wolf very lightly lays her tail-tip on his shoulder. "Is this alright? I mean...do you want help?" asks the wolf suddenly pulling her tail away.

James shakes his head and walks on silent feet beside the human. "Yes...stubborn." he says quietly. "You think like Wolf-pack, helping. "Do lone wolf. No...help'' Sleighter-man says, "No help, Work lone wolf;" but lone wolf Die by...by...winter." you know." James tries to explain at the easy pace. "I do not...think he came...to learn the way of the Wolf... I think not-Claimed come to make Dumah go to...Village. She not...see that." the Joined shakes his head. "BUT, " he looks back at Tempest and Fire; "Father-Alpha-Wolf Storm say ''Pyro be Joined... He help get...Dumah back safe to... Castial....er...Saturn pack." he nods and peers at Pyro from the corner of his eyes.

Black and red wolf's ear flicked when he felt Tempest's tail on his shoulder, and he instinctively followed after her. When she pulled her tail away as abruptly as she did, he stumbled slightly but quickly regained his footing. "Oh, no, it's alright! It's easier for me to move quickly if someone guides me," he admitted sheepishly, his ears flicking back in embarrassment, but shifting forward quickly again.
Pyro started at what James said, "No, no," he stammered, holding his hands up, but still walking, "I couldn't.. I mean, it's an honor, but... I'm the only one my mother has left. I need to stay with her." he gave an apologetic smile, "And besides, you know Dumah better than I do. I'm sure she'll want to there for her." Pyro amended with a soft sigh, toying idly with his knives.

James is silent a long moment, "I am...no...human...anymore. Need help to...too...ummm...?" something in Lupine that Tempest answers in a bark, "get Dumah away, Village men...they..not...listen...like Joined, or Taken...Wolf." he is trying to convey his wish, because although he is better at speaking than many Taken or Joined he isnt 100%. James again reguards the other young man, "You..not have to..stay..with Saturn Pack, but...asking for help...anytime...Yes." again he waits, mimicing the hand-guestures, "What mean?What say?"

Tempest lays her tail across Fire's shoulder again, "Sorry for making you stumble." she says and lifts a log out of her way with a flick of her ears and casts it to the side, quietly. Her smile is bright and fleeting for the action, "So tell me...how Did James con you into comming on this venture?Aside from what you told me already. "

Silence felt disoriented and confused. She knew she was leaning back against something with her hands tied (painfully) behind it, her feet bound together, and her head hurt. In fact, her head was throbbing with a hot, fiery, consistant pain that told her she'd been hit or had hit something. Opening her eyes and squinting into the harsh sunlight, Dumah lifted her head to examine her surroundings.
She couldn't concentrate, and the sunlight was hurting her eyes and her head even more. When she saw a man on her left, she instinctively shied away, scrambling to get away, though the harsh, painful pull and the sharp words of the man reminded her that she was tied down. So, instead, she bared her teeth and snarled at him, despite the terrified panic she was feeling.

Fire gave the fae a kind smile, "It is all right. It's not your fault that I am blind." he told her with a flick of his long tail, gratefully following her lead as her tail draped over his shoulders again. "Honestly, he didn't. He asked me to help him rescue her, and I said yes."
Pyro listened carefully to James' words, though, so that he wouldn't miss something and become confused. "Of course, you can always come to me for help. Especially if it involves Dumah." he told him earnestly, allowing his hands to fall still at his sides as they continued to walk toward the other village.

[Alpha*]

"I teach you...speak as wolf, you talk...Alpha-father Storm..need be." James listens and shakes his head. "You..come to us. Wolves, Taken, Joined. We help you." a short bob of his head that passes for a nod. Quickly he pokes Pyro's shoulder, "What.. This mean?" he asks mimicing the hand-guestures the normal man has used.

Tempest shakes her head, listening to the conversations all around her. "I know that," she replies and then chuckles about the responce he'd given her about James. "He always can get what he wants from asking," the white wolf tells Fire, "Not sure how he gets what he wants though..."

[Tyki-Pon]

"Be still you witch!" The man hissed as her smacked her face. His eyes burning with rage. "An abomination such as you should not exist! You are a which to be burned at the stake!" He muttered. Pushing her back against the wall, he glared. "Attack again and ill knock you clean out you filthy brat!"


Meeting with Shadow Demon, Slater and her talked over their plan to get Dumah back. Which involved them somewhat attacking the town at night. And since they believed Dumah to be a witch, they planned on acting as her Coven, attacking the villagers with fear, and taking her back. If conflicts ensured, they might have to fight, but not without a warning that if they ever came after dumah again, they would face the "covens" wrath. Once agreed to this, they both mounted Slaters horse and headed towards the village.

Dumah yelped loudly when he slapped her across to face, and she cowered against the wall, growling quietly at him, but hopefully soft enough that he wouldn't hear. She did not understand what he was saying. Slater kept his words simple enough for her to understand, but this man was using words that she has never heard before, and they confused her. She did not know what a stake was, or to be burned at one, or what a witch was.

Pyro nodded at James, "Oh, I see. I would be honored to learn how to speak Lupine," he said, using the formal word for the wolf language. "And of course I'll come to the packs if I need help with anything I'm certain you can help me with." he said, and paused for a long moment at James question, "Oh, this?" he made the motion he'd made when he declined Joining the pack, "It basically means no. I'm not sure why... but people use it as a way to fend an idea or words off, the way you and Dumah, and the wolves, would growl." he explained, with a small smile.
Fire gave a soft snort of agreement, continuing to follow after her. "I don't know how, either. I guess I might have agreed because I just wanted her brought home safely."

"This...no." he makes the motion, placing the newest thing he'd learned that day in memory with a nod of understanding. The Joined is quiet and James thinks about the words he had just heard and the ones he is about to say. His brain hurts as Tempest often says; "Teach...you after...saving Dumah." he promises, stiffening at something he sees comming.

A sparrow crashes to the earth beside Dumah and shifts to a wolf. "Dumah,its me Remorse." says the strange wolf in her native tongue, sticking to he shadows. "Have the humas said anything to you that you can remember?" she asks. Seige's Remorse waits for a responce having turned into a bird again. For once glad of her gifts.

"We'll save her," whispers Tempest. The white wolf nods and laughs, but her mind is on the thin colmb of smoke in the air. She barks something to James which he relays to Pyro.

"What..happen to one..Villagers call Witch? Smoke." he points to what he can see with wide eyes cast on the village-man.

Dumah's fearful gaze flickered briefly to the sparrow-wolf, but she looked away quickly, not wanting to attract unwanted attention. "They said I'm a witch," she said quietly, in Lupine, "They want to burn me at a 'stake'... Remorse, I'm scared." she whimpered audibly, "I don't understand what's going on.." Dumah was shaking, her eyes closed, and her head bowed in a way that made her look like the vulnerable little girl she felt like.

Pyro nodded approvingly at James, glad that he was learning something from him, especially since he would be learning from James once Dumah was back and safe. His gaze was soon shifted to the column of smoke that spiraled into the air, and he felt his stomach drop into his boots. He barely heard the Joined-child's question, but he answered, sounding choked, "They burn them." His hands clenched into fists, to ground himself, so that he wouldn't simply collapse from the thought of his sister being burned to death.

{( Pff. I'm still grounded. I'm on my computer now, but it's for a homework assignment. So I don't know if I can respond again as quickly. [bluh] But hey ^^ )}

Tempest growls something that can only be described as a curse. It turns her Joined companion's ears pink at the sound and he swivles to stare at her. "Come on!" she barks and takes off running, careful not to leave Fire behind. The white wolf snarls something to herself along the lines of what she'd do if they hurt Silence.

James listens and goes sheet-white. HE knows what fire is, "Come, hunt-run now." he says to Pyro, not likeing the anger he sees, and like an Omega resists the urge to whimper. The Joined reaches out and slaps the human-hunter gently across the face once to get attention and then draws away. "The sun dies. We...go..now." he orders.

Remorse snarls unhapilly. "I'll keep you safe...the sparrow is not all I am." replies the wolf and turns again to the girl, as a bird hops into her hands. "If they come close...try not to look.I can buy us some time..others are comming."
