The trees creaked with age as you walk through the forest, lost. The bushes shook as small creatures ran away from you and the growls and howls of larger animals called through the air. A twig snapped nearby and you spun around to face whatever was coming your way. A shadow stretched along the ground to where you stood and you looked up to see the owner of the shadow.
She looked like she was wearing a mask and feathers came from the mask and the base of her tail. She had tribal like wings on her back, small tusks protruding from her bottom lip and a body similar to a canine, yet looked more ferocious. She stood proud as she looked at you. "Welcome." she spoke, yet it was not her speaking, but more nature speaking. "I am Kotai, leader of Honuko." the voice she spoke with was almost melodious and calming.
"Welcome to my tribe."

Important traits

They live in tribes.
They usually have a mask.
The mask merges with them when they become an adult, teens can take theirs off, children don't have one.
Babies and Masks are gained through rituals.
They usually have sleek fur, and no mane but there are exceptions.
Females are always in charge, unless their Tribe is a member of the Dark God Tribe. (RP secretary will let you know which is which)
They die after they lose all their feathers.
There are really 4 stages. (4th being the ritual stage)
They can be any sex
They have 3 voices. One of nature (they use to talk amongst when in the presence of outsiders. ie. crickets, birds, wolves, ect.), use the voice of a loved one when talking to an unknown person, and their normal voice.
Males have larger tusks then females
Tail end and "wings" of the adults are always the same color and a solid color.

Personality: Dakota is hasty, and full of energy. He's really honest, and always cheerful. Dakota loves being around others and helping out, but he's rather stubborn and can get easily annoyed.

Likes Dakota likes being with his friends and looking at the stars at night.

Story:
Dakota into the forest, he froze. His eyes darted left and right under his mask as he looked around. He started forward again, a smile creeping on to his face as he took in the forests magnificence. He was on his way to a secret area that only he knew of. The place he'd watch the stars at.

Dakota placed one foot in front of the other. He enjoyed coming out to his spot every time he could. He'd always leave while everyone was asleep, and try to be back before the tribe noticed his absence. He'd been doing this since he was old enough to leave on his own. He was still a teen, and knew that leaving the tribe to be out in the forest was mischievous.

He froze again, still unable to shake the feeling that he was being followed. He held his breath as he heard footsteps, but let it out in a sigh of relief as he saw a deer dash past him and into the forest. He looked up at the sky; he could just barely see the sky through the thick canopy of leaves above him. This annoyed him; he loved the stars and would often daydream about leaping from star to star.

He smiled as he arrived to his secret area. He loved it here, and the flattened grass in a circle proved it. He circled the nest-like area once, and then twice and finally rested himself on the ground. He looked up at the stars and the moon; sometimes he'd wonder how all the stars got up there, and what they were made of. He spent the rest of the night there, and even took a small nap, before he went back to the tribe.

Ect. (art and such): I can't really do art... I don't have a tablet and drawing with the mouse sucks. I could do a traditional art if that's okay, but by the time I get to it and finish it, it might be too late.
