Icepool had secretly been watching Hawkpaw and Featherpaw in the sky behind a white fluffy cloud.

She smiled watching him. "You have to wait, once you see the fish jab your paw into the water with claws out. Once you feel them sink in then pull out quickly." she mewed softly.

Hawkpaw felt the sensation of being watched.He looked into the water absentmindedly only seeing his own face reflected.The young tom shook out his fur and obeyed her instructions, sliding his paw into the water.He looked up to Feathertail for approval.

Redtail hoped the clan would accept their love but,quickly shook off the thought.'Of course they would!'He said to himself.'They have to!'

Crystalpaw unaware of the Gray tom following her,bounded forwards.She was heading towards the river.The naive she-cat started to veer of her course,For some reason she felt compelled towards the faster part of the river.Crystalpaw began to run faster,and faster until she was sprinting.Her heart begged her to stop and her lungs burned with the need for air.But she didn't stop,she couldn't-well,she could she just didn't feel like stopping.Something drove her on faster then ever.

Redtail was begining to get impaitent with Ashstar,why wasn't she speaking.He shifted his weight and caught another glance at feathertail.Her pelt had fine Gray fur on it.He winced.She was old,Using his powers he turned her pelt color back to it's shining silver color.Feeling happy with himself he turned back around smiling.

Ashstar flicked her tail, "Nightkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Nightpaw. Your mentor will be Shadowclaw. I hope Shadowclaw will pass down all she knows on to you."

Shadowclaw, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from your former mentor, and you have shown yourself to be kind and respectful. You will be the mentor of Nightpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Nightpaw."

She had felt her fathers stare and looked around but couldnt find him, she smiled at Hawkpaw, standing and walking over, slowly, to sit beside him.

Personality: She is a shy cat. she likes to burn her enemies, and likes to burn prey to make it a bit more yummy. she is very smart and talented but she can help enemies to the clan with her hot paw prints without wanting. she is kind of afraid to talk to someone, and is known to be hiding in the ashes of prey. she thinks everyone wants her dead, so she usually reacts with a frown when she see happy cats.
