(OOC: Hey, Saphira, I need Cosmo to continue some of my plots so I'm gonna semi-RP him for a couple posts, like I've done with AA's characters when she's not here. That okay? If you read it and hate it, or go 'he wouldn't do that!' tell me and I'll edit them later, okay?)
The Jolteon nodded to himself. Good, the young one would be taken care of, and they could continue with their mission. A good call, Ashoka.
He stepped a little closer to her. "Aken was right; we need to plan this out a little." Sure, he didn't care for his own safety, but there was no point in all of the Magma electric types being killed unnecessarily. "But we can't stay here out in the open while we discuss. May I suggest we move out, and think of a plan along the way?" It would take them several days to reach the Aqua base; hopefully they could come up with a plan before then.
The Aqua electrician glanced up from his plate, as did others in the mess hall. There was that cry again, closer now. All of a sudden, Mary, one of his friends, burst through the door, crying and yelling for someone to help her. All thoughts of food abandoned, he jumped up and went to her.
"What's wrong?"
She shook her head, and started running. "Just come!"
Worried now, he ran after her, learning on the way that her brother had been out patrolling for deserters, what Cosmo called 'traitors' and had come back empty-handed. They'd gotten away. The leader had decided that suitable punishment for not finding the deserters was death.
Oh, Arceus, no... Jason! The siblings had both worked under him for a time- the young grunts often went through a rotation to see where they were best suited. Neither had made good electricians, but they were both diligent hard-workers, and he'd been sad to see them go.
He and Mary ran through the halls, their shoes clattering on the smooth tiles. They slowed when they reached the corridor that led to Cosmo's office, but stopped in their tracks at the crack of a gunshot. Mary would have let out a loud wail, but he put a hand to her mouth and dragged her away. They couldn't be near Cosmo. Not when he was in a mood like this.
Thankyou for the beautiful banner, Levi Ackerman!
