Maya walked to her second period class, books in hand with her cell phone in her back pocket. She had history, the blonde's least favorite subject. The girl made a low groaning sound as she entered the classroom and as usual took a seat at the corner of the class, fixing her shirt as she sat down. She plugged in her headphones as she noticed the teacher wasn't quite there yet, which wasted her time. She smiled at the thought, showing perfect white teeth.

Rayne gave a slow, carefree sashay into her second period classroom, plopping herself in a seat near the back. She re-grabbed her sketch pad, beginning to look around for proper inspiration. She wasn't going to bother with earbuds this time, as this was one of the classes she was failing, and she didn't want to take summer school.

"That must be nice." Said Storm, laughing lightly. "I'm with my fourth foster family, and they have two boys older than me- Rush and Clay. Weird, right? But I guess their okay." she shrugged. Storm looked up into the branches of the overhanging trees as she walked. She drew Jason's jacket tighter around her- it was getting colder and colder.

Maya then noticed a girl who was sketching. Suddenly feeling very curious, the blonde walked up the the girl and took a seat behind her. "Hey, what are you drawing there?" she asked.

Rayne started a bit at the noise, and whirled around to face the blond-haired girl beside her. The rainbow-headed girl smiled, and pointed to her still-blank page. “Ah, nothin' much. Just an invisible castle.” She said simply, twirling her charcoal pencil around on her finger.

Maya felt a little disappointed since she always loved to look at other people's drawings. Then she made the frown that she had on her face, into a smile. "I'm Maya. We haven't met before, have we?" she said, holding out her hand.
