@Aurore: Oh, I see. xP That makes sense. I don't really remember all my pokemon games- I think I started around Red, but the only one's I remember are FireRed, LeafGreen, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Heartgold, Diamond, and Pearl.

I can't wait till Black and White comes out because my sister says she'll do this thing where we can play the game on the computer. :3 If my Wifi thing starts working, I could trade you one of my pokemon. xD

Omg Linksage, thank you so much for posting that. I knew you could get shinies from the pokeradar, but wherever I read about it, the articles never said anything about the sparkly grass or how the farthest space was the most likely to have the desired pokemon.

No problem! ^_^ I had rotten luck with it too, till I finally found one that specified range. It was just easier for me to know which one was the furthest away once I knew that it'd be four steps away

I think the style of the shaking patch is important too... try to stick with the same kind of shake that you started with (there's a fast shake and a slow shake). I always go for the fast ones anyway because they're easier for me to see. The shiny bush will glow and sparkle, but won't shake. It's very difficult to miss when it happens. :3 And it's always a huge thrill xD

I have no shinies whatsoever.One time I ran into a shiney slugma in Crystal, but I accidentaly defeted it D: I was sooo mad, I think I broke my Gameboy when I threw it at the wall xD

I'm currently trying to assemble my team on Heart Gold, but I haven't seen a chatot on Heart Gold, so I can't transfer it over the way I have to. I have the Honchkrow I need to breed with the chatot to get the right moveset, but I can't get the chatot onto Heart Gold D:
