Aine was used to being called "girl", just like Cookie had, and like her father always did. She was always a gender, never a name. "It's Aine," she whispered under her breath. Just then she realized she had never learned the boys name either. "What about yours... your name?" she mumbled self-conciously.

Damien nodded. "Nice name." He stood up and grabbed his sword and slung it over his back. "Damien. My name's Damien." He said as he walked on

Aine hurried to catch up. Damien... somehow the name fit him, though she couldn't put a place to it. "Where are we going now?" she asked Damien quietly.

"Oh...," Aine halted in her tracks. She felt a bit like a stray dog, following Damien around. She didn't want to seem so dependent. She looked at her toes awkwardly.

Aine looked up and nodded vigorously, hurringy after him again. She didn't feel quite so confident anymore.
