Once long ago, there was a lush green island surrounded by long waters where many Trekkles lived. There came a day where humans found this island and began to destroy all the trees which the Trekkles and many other species depended on. Many Trekkles died during this invasion, until there were only four left. These Trekkles decided they would fly from their homeland across the endless ocean to find land. They had no idea if there was even land across the ocean, but they decided they either left the island or died along with the others.
Many hours had passed, and the four Trekkles were still traveling. Their arms grew tired, but they still traveled knowing that if they stopped they fell. They flew for many more hours until from the ocean fog they finally saw land in the distance. They settled on this land, finding many more Trekkles there. They created a home for Trekkles called, "The Dray," where Trekkles could live and support each other. These four Trekkles who assembled the Dray were named "The Four Great Elders." They do not live currently, but are remembered as the wisest and most skilled Trekkles who ever lived.
Now, in the current day, there are many other Treckles in the Dray. The Dray is a large circle of trees that lies in a thick forest. Each tree in the circle of trees in the Dray serves a purpose: Some house Trekkles, others are used for food storage, and some even as safe work spaces. The Dray Trees protect Trekkles from the predators that lurk throughout the forest. Bears, wolves, lynx, foxes, and other wild animals live in the forest with the Trekkles, so the Dray acts as a defense system against them.
More and more threats have appeared recently. Roaming Trekkles that don't belong in the Dray have been spotted, more and more predators have showed up, and humans have also been spotted nearby. Will you join the Dray and help out the rest of the Trekkles at this time of danger?
• Roles and Names •
There are many different roles that your Trekkle can have. When a Trekkle is a baby, it is referred to as a Nestling. At this age, the Nestling chooses which role it will take in the Dray. When it is old enough to learn its role, the Nestling is referred to as a Novice. A Healer, or a Trekkle who harvests different herbs and fruits for the Dray. A Harvester, or a Trekkle who goes out collecting foods like berries, nuts, and other types of fruits. A Defender, or a Trekkle who can fight off predators or any other enemy Trekkles. A [Flyer, or a Trekkle who specializes in flying and swiftness. This is used to locate things from the sky, or travel and find things for others easily. An Outsider, or a Trekkle who is against living in the Dray and seeks life elsewhere. Lastly, your Trekkle can be a Leader, or a Trekkle who keeps the Dray in order.
• Seasons •
Seasons are also important. There is Bright Moon (Spring), Heat Moon (Summer), Harvest Moon (Fall), and Resting Moon (Winter). During Bright Moon, the days are mostly sunny. There is rarely a cloud in the sky, and the crops do well during this season. During Heat Moon, the crops do the best and the weather is stormier. It is more humid out during this season. During Harvest Moon, all the Treckles Prepare for Resting Moon. They collect and store as much food as they can, until they use the food during Resting Moon. During Resting Moon, all the Trekkles eat most of the stored food, and settle in the Dray Trees. They hibernate until Bright Moon.
