Chase spluttered and waved his arms wildly, splashing up the water around him "Sage! Did you feel that big nasty shark that just tried to bite off your legs???" she said with a stupid grin on his face.

I giggled nervously, blood rising up to my cheeks in a soft pink blush. I didn't know how I should react. Just go with it and get back at him flirtasiously, or play it safe and dismiss it as him just trying to get to my head? I'd never had a boy really say anything like that to me, so my normal bashful personality took over, deciding to go with plan B.
