Meaning "light" in Japanese. This was chosen because of the fireflies on her tail which seem to "light up" or "glow"



Hikari has a nasty habit and that's staying up late and catching fireflies. What else do you think he'd do? This mutatuo enjoys the night, it calms him, soothes him. After a nice rest outside its time to catch some fireflies. After a few attemps of trying to catch them Hikari normally comes back to his home and watches them fly around. After his fun he makes sure to release the light-up bugs and ensures they return home safely.
