One would be Totoro... I'll never be able to afford his cute bum in a million years though.

What is your favorite type of Production Art?:

I LOVE colorful genga sketches, all the thought and planning happens there then it's simplified to be colored and made into an anime. :>

Extras Comments?:

I collect because I feel it's as close as you can get to the real character in a show or movie, you know? The art can also be so beautiful and since it has a story behind it it has extra meaning. I've just started collecting more seriously and I hope to get at least one piece of production art, of any kind, from each of my favorite shows or one of each of my favorite characters in those shows. It will be a journey, I'm sure, but if I can accomplish that I will be happy, I don't really have the desire to own more than say 10 from each show... quality over quantity. ouo

Once I get all my pieces scanned I will be uploading them to rubberslug.com, which is this awesome little community of production art collectors that everyone should check out!

Anyways, I had an absolutely horrible day... the only highlight was I got two dream cels in the mail.
One is of Usagi during an emotional scene I adore as well as Star Fighter in the final episode of SM protecting ESM.


I never really hoped to dream that I would own a Star Fighter Cel as detailed and stunning as this one, I had been watching some on ebay for years and they were much higher than what I got this one for from a generous collector.
Just look at that intense determination in her eyes!


She also sold the lovely Usagi to me from Episode 195 where she is standing in the rain telling Haruka "I love Mamo-chan... but I... love other people [insert Seiya], too!" *fan girl squeal* ouo <3

I'm not sure it's set in that these are mine, I may be in shock! o__o;

I chanced upon a private collector trying to downsize his bleach collection... he happened to have Nelliel in her adult, which came from the same sequence as a lesser quality piece I've been watching on ebay for a few months.

So I emailed him and now she's mine, she came in the mail yesterday. :>

Check out how amazing this piece is!

I have two from this scene so I may sell the other one, it's just as nice and shows the hilt of her zanpakuto.
