When is the new update coming out?

I can see what you mean.
My friend and I had a conversation about how they're slowing ruining Minecraft, one update at a time.
I'm trying to savor the moments I have while playing now, hopefully that will keep me from raging when they eventually cross the line.

Don't get me wrong, I think Minecraft is a great game.
It's just the updates.. Mojang is being risky with some of the new content.

I feel like they're trying to improve for the better. It's not like they're throwing out some new out-there thing that is highly controversial. I mean not everyone is going to enjoy all the updates- I know I haven't always been too thrilled when I updated my game. I even thought that horses were sort of risky, and I LOVED that update. But for some people, they might not. I think the only thing I hear rumors about that I find a bit questionable about how well it's going to tide over is trainable dragons. Seems a little too fantasy for something like minecraft, but then again- there's fantasy mobs in the game, and it's not exactly "super realistic", so my argument doesn't make much of a point.

Overall, I still think they are trying to go for what the majority will enjoy, and so far I have seen mostly positive thoughts about the update. I mean, I don't like the new icey spike biome- like what's the point? And it looks a little weird to me. But I don't think it's risky. I just don't care for it, so I won't use that biome, just like I do with all the other places I don't care for.

Really, what I'm trying to say here is I don't think they're "ruining" minecraft. Change is going to and has happened. We just have to get used to it, or if we don't like it enough to continue, stop playing.

The great thing about Minecraft though is you are not forced to play on the new update. You can play on any version of minecraft you so desire. They don't force you to go through the changes if you don't want to- just don't update, and keep playing on the version you enjoy most. Minecraft isn't there so you can loathe playing it, it's there so you can enjoy it! I wouldn't have paid $27 for it if I didn't enjoy it, and I even had a torrented copy for a while in the beginning but still decided that I enjoyed it enough that they deserved my money and also because I wanted to play with other people.

We don't know yet- some people speculate the full release will be around Minecon time, so November-ish.

Well after months I finally got java fixed, and minecraft up and running again. Yay!
Feels so good to play minecraft again after so long, however I am sad that one server I liked playing on either restarted or refreshed or something because it counted me as a new player and my house and stuff is just...gone.

Also a while back on here I remember seeing someone post about them making a all cs minecraft server. Did that ever go anywhere, or is something like that too good to be true? Would love to have a day of playing minecraft with fellow cs members. xD

I'm not very happy at the moment.

So I just logged onto Smoothiecraft and went outside of my house. I looked around to find only two sheep strolling about in the fenced area.. I thought this was a bit weird because I have 4 cows and a ton of sheep. As I get closer I realize, there is a hole in my fence. Somebody has broke into my fence, stole loads of carrots from the ground and left the fence open. All of my cows and sheep have gone.

I want the person who did this to own up, even though I know they probably won't.

Does anyone have an idea of who it could be?
