++Reason for choosing the name
Something about the blooming plant and the underwater person reminds me of an apocalypse... Mostly the plant. And since Wall-E pretty much took place in an apocalypse, well... yeah.

One final hope
life
among the rubble that was once a city
where children played
And people worked
All their lives
On a hamster wheel
Sticking the course

But what happens when the wheel breaks
and doesn't exist anymore?
People are scared
they don't know what to do
Chaos and panic
Until the world is empty
And the skies are gray
And there's no life for miles

Then
A speck of green
amongst all the gray
And that one single speck of green
in a gray wasteland
brings hope
and life.
(This poem was sooo long holy... I just made up a story in my head and wrote)

~Reason for choosing the name
Well, the mutato's theme is survival and the one thing that keeps you going when trying to survive is hope. I just look at the beautiful leaf growing out of the rubble and the one thing it reminds me of is hope. Hope is not believing something will happen but knowing it will and making it happen. This beautiful mutato needs a beautiful name: Hope.
