"Yes! I know that they will be!" Streakkit let out a squeal. "And... well, if Hawk wants to join us, he can," Streakkit added, glancing back towards the nursery. "He's always liked adventures! In fact, I think that he might be the most outgoing one out of all of us!" She frowned slightly; she did not like admitting that one cat was perhaps better or more special than her in any way, shape, or form, but some things were all too true and simply had to be said. As such, this was one of them.

Nightpaw faced his mentor. "Okay," he meowed, somewhat uncertainly. "What if I do the move badly, though?" He glanced down at the ground as he said this, thinking of a move, then looked up and quickly hopped forward and to the left slightly. However, it was only a feint; he was actually planning to jump the other way. She was heavier than he was, and so she would have a harder time catching up with him. Oh, StarClan; please let this work! he prayed inwardly.

Storm Star nodded. "Heartpound, that's a great idea!" he exclaimed. "Kudos to you for thinking about it. And...." He grinned. "How about we take out Greenpaw? She's been left alone for quite a while, without any torturing action, or anything! She's also hungry, so she'll be just weak enough that she fights back, but can't beat us!" he added. "Torture her good and well, Heartpound! I trust you to do so. Bloodstreak!" he called, to that very same warrior. "Get Greenpaw!" Bloodstreak nodded, and padded off.
*
Greenpaw sat in her cage, frightened as she heard footsteps padding towards her. On any other day, I could probably beat them, but, today, I'm too weak! she thought. She hated to admit it, but she was utterly terrified. Terrified for her life, for her spirit, and for... herself.

Snowycloud glanced at Gingertail, working extra hard to comprehend her. Since he was deaf in one of his ears, he couldn't hear her that well. He made sure that she was on his good side, but it wasn't always enough. Sometimes he misunderstood cats, and they got angry. Gingertail's probably not like that.... But, I mean... still..., he thought uncertainly, biting his lip.
"Don't worry! I'd absolutely love to protect you!" he confirmed in a purr. Once they switched to more casual conversation, however, he meowed, "Hmm.... I don't know. Do you think that any apprentices will be going along? After all, it's kind of risky, isn't it? Who knows? BloodClan might just know when we hold our Gatherings, and realize that tonight is one, and then they'll be waiting to prey on us innocent cats!" His eyes widened, and he suddenly cried, "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to frighten you, or anything! Let's talk about nicer things; now, shall we?" He purred. "Think we'll be going to the Gathering? Both of us?"
