The Popularity Contest/High School/Accepting

"How much do you wanna bet?" Chloe asked, confident that they would, and when they did, she wanted to know every detail.

She looked up at will, surprised he would actually come over and talk to her. "H-hey, i'm Leana" Honestly she was afraid he was going to put food in her face or knock her over, so she kinda braced herself for what was coming, knowing his social status.

Will looked the girl over and suddenly explained, "Did you know that before I came to this school I was an outsider? Yeah I know what you're thinking, but please don't be intimidated by me...I know jocks have the stereotype of being a player and all this and that, but I'd really like it of you'd think of me as a friend." Will didn't know why he was telling her all of this, but for some reason it just felt right.

"Ok" For a moment she wondered why he said this, but she did feel a bit better after it. "You certainly changed in the switch of schools, pretty hard to move up from being an outcast" For her it was a challenge to go anywhere with her status, so she just kind of gave up after a year of trying to fit in with people she wasn't supposed to

"Yeah well, after I ran away from my Foster parents and moved in with my aunt, I just figured it would be easier if I started over...you know with like a new look and everything." Will trailed off and shuddered as he remembered what it was like at his other school...he knew now why he had tried to block out those bad memories for the past few years.

"I came here as a runaway to, but not from foster parents..." She looked down at the ground with a sall sigh before looking back up at him. She didn't want to remember any of those years. She hid from her parents for pretty good reasons, and didn't ever want to go back

"We'll it seems that we have more in common then most people think...anyways, is this you first year here?" Will asked Leana and wondered why he hasn't seen her before today.

"Ya, just moved in last week. What about you?" She kept trying to think of if she had saw him before, but couldn't think of anything all day.

"Well I guess my Aunt and I moved here about 5 years ago...so I've known everyone for a while now..." Will remembered again just why they had moved and blinked away the thought. No here was a safe place, it was where he could call home.
