Before long I found myself growling at the walls that kept me in and I wanted nothing more than to claw them into oblivion. The room wasn't particularly small nor was it overly large so I wasn't suffering from claustrophobia or anything of the sort. I just needed to get out for a little while and stretch my legs a bit. "Alright come on, we're going out." By now my spontaneous decisions to take action were coming about more frequently. It felt good to just be able to do things without the constant drag of Erasers or the flock. Now we could just get up and go whenever we pleased which made me beyond happy. Freedom was something I valued above all else and to have such absolute control over my life felt good for a change.

Dirk sighed, leaning his head back against the rough bark of the tree. He would've forgotten about it too, if it hadn't been for the way he was sitting. Man, that smile...even when he was trying to be serious, it got to him. Sometimes he thought Ren did that just to distract him, like a subject change. "Well sure, it takes a lot to be the head honcho 'n stuff, but you're still avoidin' my question. What's makin' you so stressed? An' don't give me some evasive answer like, 'oh, there's a lotta things'. I wanna real answer." He brought his gaze back down to the matter--literally--in front of him, his ice blue eyes searching the green orbs turned his way.

Hiro jumped slightly when he heard something other than the soft tapping of Jinx's shoes on the floor, obviously still quite wary of sudden noises or movements even though right now there wasn't really need for it. "Oh, okay," he said, turning to look at her with an inquisitive look. "What should we do?" he asked, wriggling off the bed and walking to stand a few feet in front of her. It felt nice to be able to say that, at least.

Smiling slightly I just shrugged not really knowing what it was that I planned on doing once we got outside. Something was telling me to go and so I'd just listen to my super kitty senses since they had yet to fail me. "Lets just walk around and maybe see where we really are. It would suck if we were in a city or town that happens to be close to the school." Had Hiro been asleep I probably would have had a hot date by the end of the night but I had a feeling that the small boy would scare off any idiot who I managed to drag back to the hotel room.

Ren let his leg swing back down, and rested his elbows on his knees. The teen closed his eyes and reached up to rub his temples. "Jinx was my shoulder to lean on, and I pushed her away. So I'm basically protecting you guys on my own. So I'm stressed. And tired. And hungry."

Hiro tensed slightly at the mere mention of that place but quickly shrugged it off, unable to fight back the small burst of heat that emanated from him. Whoa, he'd almost forgotten that was a thing that happened. He had to clear his throat before he could speak properly again, "A-alright, uhm, roof or lobby?"

Ahh, there it is. "C'mon bro, you have like, what, ten more shoulders that care about ya just as much? And that's not even countin' the most import'nt ones--mine." He wrapped his arms around Ren's midsection, yet another awkward position due to how the latter male was sitting. "Ya don't have to protect us all. If ya haven't noticed, we can take care of ourselves. I don' even know if you're the oldest, by flock standards. So loosen up a bit, man. Jus' take a flight or somethin', calm your nerves."

Storm held the cash tight in his pocket and walked into the restaurant. He placed a huge order and got weird looks from the staff working there. He quickly told them it was for a party. They took his explication and Stated the huge order to-go.

After ridding myself of my furry and very twitchy appendages I leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to the smaller boy's cheek. "Roof. After that we can go wherever you want." I was silently cursing a certain dog and green eyed boy for turning me into such an affectionate person. Indifference was so much easier to live with. Hiro was going to be downed in affection and I knew he wouldn't like it! There was no way to bestow a small amount of emotion upon a number of people so that I'd eventually be mellowed out enough to not overwhelm someone with a barrage of random feelings that would surely make someone faint or something.
