What makes you say that? You both seem awesome and cool. Just because one person doesn't like you doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. Don't give up hope and even if that is true its ok because you have more time for friends or alone so it can be a good thing. When being alone you have time to practice your skills I've heard from multiple people you need like 1000 hours or more to become officially good at it so you would by theory become really good at that talent. So I only want to try and make people happy because I'm like that.

Well, he isn't socially aware half of the time, because he is autistic. There were some girls from church that i know who also go to my school, and they were hanging out with his mom. They asked who he was talking to, so he told them. They were telling him how pretty I was (lol don't know about that!) and how he should invite me to the movies. He just blushed a lot and told them to stop. HES SO CUTE OMG //ends cap abuse

if its something that annoys you, not having a "significant other", then do something about it.

I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything, but my statement still is true. If you want to shelter away from anyone, I'm guessing you don't want to be in a relationship ^-^;

Ughh. I'm an IDIOT! Matt (Code named Bear) was sneaking glances at me all day and I just- CAN'T- talk to him! We're even at the same art table for Pete sake! I know he likes hockey and reading so we at least have one thing in common... but... UGHH!

As it turns out, my friend doesn't like him any more, so it's all good there.
I asked him about the football game and he declined, but I understand because he doesn't like huge social events that much. I really want a chance to hang out with him, though. My dad is hosting a big party this weekend, but I don't think he'd like that either... I think it'd be cool if maybe my dad could just take the two of us to somewhere that isn't that busy, like a movie or something. But that would but the guy I like in an awkward position because, as I said before, I have no idea how he feels about me.
I am going to try to see if one of my friends can see how he feels, but that seems really lame. I know I shouldn't be nervous about this because he's my friend and even if he turns me down he would do it nicely and that would be that, but I just don't know. Fear of rejection, maybe? Maybe it's because I've never been in a relationship before. I still feel like it's too early for this... I'm pretty sure I'll end up being 20 and still thinking I'm too young for a relationship, though.
I'm just really scared he's not going to be all I think he is... He isn't really into anything I like and I'm not sure if he's a fan of my genera of fandoms. Perhaps he'd be really awesome though? Bluh I just don't know. ❞

but this guy I like. Lives two hours away. We clearly both like each other and have both made that obvious.
but.
He wont date me unless we meet. And I don't currently have a way to do that. At least not for a year.
And with school it's rare I talk to him at all. He's somehow busy ALL of the time and we can only talk on weekends :c
it just feels hard because who's busy all of the time? I text him like three times a day and he NEVER texts first and it's rare he'll even reply if I text him earlier in the day.
If he likes me so much why is it so hard to text first or make a little time to talk?
