Ok, guys. How does this sound?

We want to implement a site. Adopts will be made here or there, whatever users prefer. The contests for the adopts won't be held here, but rather on the site and held by a judge. Guest artists won't judge the adopts they made unless they sign up to be a judge. Before you say "yay" or "ney", here are a few reason WHY we want to do this.

• The site will allow more control for the staff on what users can do and post. It will make it easier for us to be able to stop and prevent harassment.
• It will allow the artists to not worry about judging. The contests will be held and updated by a judge rather than the artist. Users won't have to wait on the artist to judge.
• Having judging positions is - that's right - more jobs available, more room on the staff, and more opportunities for customs.
• Events will be easier to handle.

It sounds like a good idea Talon. Another reasoning for a website would simply to be able to handle more Makoatl based information; such as contests etc. I think something that would be really cool would be adding an RP with a world of some sort.

Perhaps you could make more species to try out for on the site, which are in the 'world' of Makos?

Yes, an RP part for sure. RP events to earn makos as well ;P
Not 100% about the other species, though a staff member has also suggested it. If people like the idea I may do it, but it will probably take a while ^^

What do you think about calenders, so you are able to see when makos end, or should that all be in an archive?

Talon, I think your idea sounds fantastic. It will really help circulate the amount of questions and random posts, as well as keep all of the RPs together. I think, I properly organized, it will Definetly be great. But you'll need to hire a mod or two to keep everything out of a chaotic mess.

For sure. I'll need artists, GAs, judges, an archivist that will update the calender, RP mods, and regular mods.
Look at all those spots on the mako staff ;P
